Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

CanadaLocation is far out of the way for anything except the university, with only one tram line nearby and only a few shops and restaurants within a far walking distance. The room and furnishings lack character – straight out of an Ikea catalogue.
Very spacious apartment with a stocked kitchenette, lounge, and work areas. Fantastic location for the nearby Weinberg Campus of the MLU University.

SlovakiaThe arrival and departure were very dramatic. The name of the street from the main street is missing, it was difficult to find it. I was not accommodated in the main building but in the adjacent wing, I searched for a room for a long time, and after a quarter of an hour an unknown guest helped me. I couldn't find the wifi password in the room, I didn't have access for many hours because of that. Finally, another guest from another room told me that I should not look for "wifi" and "password" in the notifications, but "wlan" and "Zugang". It was not listed in English. When leaving, I didn't have a chance to hand over the key - where and to whom? I still don't know where it was supposed to be handed in, when I was leaving, I looked again for 10 minutes for who to give it to. When I was walking up and down under the windows, someone called me through the window or the door, asking what I was looking for and took my key. One phone number was given in case of solving problems in the evening. Of course it didn't work because I was "not from the region". Summary: the stay was of high quality, but the arrival, departure and communication with the staff is a tragedy.
Excellent, quiet location for visiting the university, large modern rooms in a historic building.

United StatesOnly complaint: Worst pillow ever. We had an excellent experience, but this is not for every traveler. We have traveled a great deal over the years. A large hotel holds no appeal. If you want to have a place for breakfast, or if you end up making many requests when staying at a hotel, this is not for you.
The "Boardinghouse" in on a campus, and it's summer, so there were very few people around. This was similar to a student apartment. It was very roomy, we were able to unpack everything. The room/bathroom were clean. The shower was GREAT. We had a kitchenette and fridge that was great. A small freezer allowed we Americans to have our ice :). Also, an ALDI is within a short walking distance. We chose this place because Leipzig was too expensive. We are here for Euro Cup.

NetherlandsThe ground floor room is humid, feeling that the bedding was not dry. It is noisy in the morning and late evening because my room is close to the entrance. I was waken up. There was no hot water from 8:00-18:00 on 22 June so I could not take a shower but I was not informed beforehand.
Good parking place. Spacious room. The shower facility is very good. Air conditioning works well. The garden is good.
