The room was facing the main road and it was quite noisy, but it is not the hotel`s fault.

The check-in was very easy, the location was perfect. Walking distance to the old city center. We went for a concert, the venue was 5 minutes walking distance from the hotel. Free coffee and tea at the reception.

In the center of Aachen, just a few minutes’ walk from the main tourist attractions. The city, in general, has quite a few homeless people, but access to the hotel is only possible with a key card, which makes it safer. The room is very spacious; the bed consists of two single beds pushed together and could use a pillow top for more comfort. The bathroom is small and, when taking a shower, water leaks from the shower enclosure. This didn’t bother us, but it does run across the bathroom floor and leaves everything wet. Although the hotel does not offer breakfast which was not a problem for us there is a coffee machine at the reception, as well as a machine with cold water, sparkling water, and even tea, available all day long. They provide a bottle of water in the room, which can be refilled at the reception. The hotel is very clean and beautiful, and the receptionists are very attentive. What we found a bit unusual was that we left our luggage at the reception after check-out and returned to pick it up at 1 p.m., as we were informed that from that time onwards the reception is not staffed on Sundays. We are not sure if this happens only on Sundays, but for those who want to enjoy the rest of the day, it would be ideal to arrange another place to store your bags.

The location is excellent, the thermal bath is only 10 minutes away and the centre is also only 20 minutes walk. There is free coffee at the reception which is very good quality.

Everything about this hotel just works. The rooms are super clean, have everything you need and the location is central to the Carolus Therme as well as to the old city centre. As a solo female traveller I found the location felt safe. The reception was staffed until 6pm and after hours it was easy to come and go with a key card system. My room was to the back and very quiet. Lovely area to sit downstairs with quality self serve coffee/cappuccino machines and dishes and cutlery for any breakfast you might want to get from the bakery next door. Easy bus connection to the main station..

An extremely pleasant stay in a hotel that exceeded my expectations. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff is extremely friendly. Next to the reception, guests can enjoy free tea or coffee in a pleasant environment. The hotel is very close to the Eurogress congress center, which is a great advantage for business guests.

Exceptional rooms, super clean, and wonderful staff. We had dogs, and asked for rooms close to outdoors, near to each other, and near end-hall to limit noise. They upgraded us to beautiful suite with outdoor space and great privacy. Outstanding property and service!!!

1) When reserving (if you're a light sleeper) ask if the room is connected/adjoins room next door. Ours did, but fortunately, no one booked the room. 2) This hotel is on the corner of a busy intersection. There was street noise (ambulance/police, Saturday night) even on 5th floor with windows closed. Even so, these problems weren't that bad!

The center of Aachen is about a 20 minutes walk. I thought the hotel was in the center but that could have been my mistake.
