Does anyone like those soap dispensers in bathrooms where you have to squeeze hard to get a trickle of liquid soap? They're cheap and soulless, a false economy if ever there were one.

I was disappointed that there was no hot water on the first night of my stay. It was a bit uncomfortable, especially after a long day of travel. While the issue was resolved soon, it would be appreciated if the hot water situation is better managed in the future.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a pleasant experience overall. The hotel is well-located, with easy access to public transport. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and check-in was smooth. My room was clean and cozy and had a comfortable bed. The breakfast was simple but good. I was in Room 73 in the Annex: from 05.00 in the morning, the traffic noise had woken me up and I could not get back to sleep again. I normally wake up 2 or 3 times in the night and have no problem falling asleep again. It was not only the traffic but also the road noise of the traffic, which caused me to struggle throughout the day!!!

Horrendous first evening, I arrived at 10.20pm and reception was locked up. I only got into the hotel because my friend spotted me standing outside. I took a key that was on the desk and used that room, fortunately no-one came in. There was no apology when I told reception what had happened in the morning.

Located in a nice quiet suburb of Hamburg, a fair way out but only 5 minutes from an S Bahn station. Breakfast fully acceptable.

Our room was on the 4th floor without lift so it was a bit tiring to get there. Cleanliness could be improved, since we found our bathroom not thoroughly cleaned throughout our stay and on the day before our departure we didn't get clean towels but overall it was clean

The room was big and cosy, very nicely decorated, with a big balcony and window. Very lovely. It's position is quite perfect, only 500 m away from S-Bahn station Blankenese and several bus stops. There are quite a few restaurants nearby (Peter Pane was especially nice). There is a variety of choices for breakfast, accomodating both people who enjoy it savoury and those who like it sweet. There could be a little more baked goods rather than just bread but it was overall very enjoyable. It was a lovely experience and I will definitely come back when I come again to Hamburg

A little bit of traffic noise overnight.

Friendly reception staff, good parking, large and comfortable rooms. Wonderful location, being a short walk to the water, from which the sunsets were beautiful. Tasty breakfast.

We booked a room with a balcony. After rejecting the first room (which didn’t have a balcony) we ended up with a ground floor room - hence still no balcony. The room did not have any tea or coffee. Just as well because there are no kettles in the room. There is not even water provided. So, you have no choice but to buy water from outside. This cannot be properly stored in the room as there is no refrigerator. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon. All the shops and markets were closed in the Blankansee area. We could not get any drink whatsoever at the hotel despite there being a restaurant which only provides a meagre breakfast. We therefore had to buy bottles of water from a nearby restaurant later in the evening. Bathroom was not very clean, and the towels had been washed so many times and were so old that they were practically useless.

There is absolutely nothing positive to say about this “hotel”. The only thing remotely acceptable for us was the convenience of its location. That said, there is another hotel (Baurs Park) approximately 400m away which is infinitely better.

Breakfast was good. Location is good, too -- 6-minute walk from the Blankenese S-Bahn stop. Very large bathroom, bedroom was large. too. Very quiet. Process for my late check-in went smoothly.
