Hotel B1 sticks out with a moderate pricing per night. However, people who book with them should prepare themselves for some hardship like small and uncomfortable bedding and a very noisy environment. Myself, I would not recommend to stay more than 1 night.

The blankets are dirty The address for the accomodation (in the second building) is very harf to find. Even the reception help is not useful. Far from city center (it took 50 mins with public transport)

The Smell There was a persistent smell of cigarettes. The room smelled damp, and the pillow had a somewhat strange odor. I think they could wrap the pillow in something waterproof to maintain hygiene between guests. The room also became very cold, with no automatic heating facilities.

For the price. I would say the location was good. 4mins from a busstop and I could get to the places I wanted. it was also a calm and serene environment

Location from Berlin city centre was a distance and due to train line repairs, there was not always a train available to go into the centre

Staff were very helpful when I required an extra night and allowed me to remain in the same room I had been in the previous 2 nights.

When we arrived, the reservation code didn't work and the was noone in the reception. We spent 45 minutes waiting after we called Booking.com staff and they communicate with the girl who received us.

I liked the way the girl took care of us when we met. She didn't speak English or Spanish but she was very nice and communicate with us in the best way possible.

Find building no 2!! Put map on reception glass or something. Google maps shows complete different building according address. No elevator. Price is overated for this kind stay.

Self ckeck-in. For a tourist, it was hard to understand, that the room was in a different building and difficult to find the right door. Won't book again.

Rooms contain antique furniture. No kettle inside the room and no bottle opener. No pen or paper to write anything. Nobody in reception in the night or very early in the morning.

A good budget hotel with excellent transport links. You don’t see much of anybody in reception so if you’re someone who wants help with self check in then this place is not good for you. The rooms are spacious.

There are constructions going on, people working wakes you up in the morning because of the noise. No reception crew attending and instructions are in German so you can get confused about the two buildings.

- the staff was not there when they were supposed to. - we called like 5-6 times and someone picked up the phone only twice - the vending machine had problems, we lost about 6€ in it - someone came with a dog and they left it outside of the room, so it made noise all night - we did not see anyone at the reception to pay for our breakfast

- the room was really clean and the bar was always avalable - the little info book that was in the room was really helpful

I think there should be more vegetables and fruits for breakfast.

Very much liked easy access to station and buffet was good. There's a pool free of charge, so playing was fun and nice bar to sit and drink coffee.

Unfortunately Hotel B1 Tourist is located at main street B1 and is all the time very loud here outside.

Very nice staff, close to Butzer Lake, shops and Chinese restaurant in the near.
