The breakfast buffet was in the lobby and there were only small bistro tables. Not ideal.

Its location is central. The hotel’s architecture and design is wonderful.

First of all, the location is spectacular, inside one of the main attractions of Magdeburg, the Grüne Zitadelle. Also centrally located. The Hundertwasser design is present inside the rooms as well. Great atmosphere. Good breakfast, rooms are clean, friendly staff. Parking garage directly under the hotel (paid). Great choice for a stay in this city!

Super friendly check in staff. Very comfortable, spacious and quiet room. Great architecture. We attended the tour of the hotel, even the it was conducted in German and we are English speakers. We enjoyed it none the less. Great location, very handy to the main town.

During intake the receptionist made without asking a copy/scan of my passport. This illegal: it is against the European Wide General Data Protection Regulation (GDP) as well as the German Bundesmeldegesetz. It overcame me earlier in Germany. As frequent business traveller i didn't experienced it over the last years in other European countries.

Want to look at some architecture while in a city? Why not stay in the Green Citadel, designed by Hundertwasser! The hotel is nice and you can take a tour through the building at 11:00 AM. Staff is nice, beds are comfy.

Everything about this place is a delight; I have loved Hundertwasser for a long time. The hotel was comfortable with good facilities. Breakfast was good and parking/buke storage is easy.

The space for breakfast is small. No tables really bigger for 2-3 not a major problem but was crowded. Selection good.

The cool designs in the rooms and the balcony. Bathrooms booked like optical illusion - children loved it! Friendly welcome and nice drink in bar in evening. Fabulous location. Overall a great stay.

The lighting in the room was a bit dark.

The staff were amazing!! Everyone was so welcoming and friendly. Went over and above to help make my staff more comfortable. Location was excellent and easy to access.

To say that the rooms are soundproof is a bit of an overstatement, as I could hear every voice from the corridor. Impossible to open windows overnight as trams and lorries were extremely loud. You might want to go for a room with a terrace and you'll most probably will get a room towards the back of the house.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much for them :) Beds and bedding were very comfortable. Lots of pillows to chose from. Complementary water bottle. The interior of the hotel has some Hundertwasser features though none of the furniture do. The furniture is still pretty, colourful and different.

What a fantastic hotel - we loved the design and its artistic architecture. We did not expect it in the middle of Magdeburg. Would love to return there.

Breakfast was a bit chaotic. the space is very small. but it was definitely good.

I absolutely loved the bright and playful atmosphere. it was like getting to live in a piece of art for a few days. the bed was so comfy too. I very much appreciated Hundertwasser's ecological ideals in his design.
