How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty

- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Great location near amenities and tourist spots but in an area with strip clubs and erotic shops. Quite noisy area at night.
Really spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Any problems the staff dealt with quickly.

Central location with about 10-15 mins walk to central district. Nice staff. Reasonably equipped kitchenette for 1/2 days stay. Value for money. Great parking facility at a cheaper price than normal parking price. All kinds of shops close by.

Well located near the train station which made day travel across the city easy. Apartment was clean and spacious for my family. The kitchen was reasonably stocked and the bathroom was clean. It is a perfect place for a 3-5 night stay.

The only downside was that the outdoor camera was pointed directly at the windows of my room, which felt uncomfortable and made me keep the curtains closed most of the time.
The check-in was very quick, and the location is excellent - just a 5-minute walk from the central station. The room was very clean and had everything needed for a comfortable stay, including an iron, ironing board, washing machine, and more.

Parking isn’t the most convenient, but it’s better than nothing.
Clean apartment, friendly staff and a convenient location, a 10-15-minute walk to downtown. Complimentary welcome amenities: coffee, bottled water, etc.

The kitchen was clean and functional but simple and a bit dated.

Arrived late after 12:00 am, couldn't find a car park.
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! It truly has everything a family could need — from comfortable rooms and great amenities to facilities that keep everyone happy. The location is fantastic, with plenty of restaurants just a few steps away, making dining out so easy. The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful, always ready with a smile and assistance whenever needed. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a pleasant, stress-free stay!

This was my second stay at Arabest and it was just as wonderful as the first time. Staff was very friendly and generous, the room was clean and neat, and the bedding was comfy. The neighborhood was unique and lively, and great for shopping.

- My wife and I stayed here on 2 separate occasions in early May. First in room 603 as a couple and later in room 105 when our adult daughter joined us in Munich. We highly recommend staying at the Arabest. The 2-room apartments have a good design. There is a door that closes off the main living area from the hallway so you can really have 2 separate bedrooms (our daughter used the sofa bed in the living room). - We were pleasantly surprised to get a bottle of red wine when we arrived. We were supplied 2 packets of laundry detergent, tea, coffee, and milk in little sealed containers, dishwashing supplies, and a laundry drying rack. We were very comfortable there. - We were very appreciative of the front desk which was staffed from 8 am to 10 pm. They told us where all the local grocery stores were. They warned us that grocery stores closed at 8 pm Monday through Saturday and were closed on Sundays. 8 am to 10 pm are also the hours for the front entrance. Outside of those hours, you use a side entrance. We were also able to request extra supplies like towels.

The air conditioning was programmed to turn off every two hours which made for a long night. We reached out to the manager the next day and he reprogrammed our room to keep the air conditioning on all night. Which we appreciated, but didn’t think we should have to reach out to have air all night. Also we had a huge cockroach in our room. But other than that the room was spacious and clean.

Street was a bit noisy when windows were open
Hotel was in perfect location 5 minutes walking to Central Train Station and 10 minutes to Marienplatz. Staff were very nice and helpful and room was very clean and comfortable fitted my family perfectly with all needed appliances and kitchenware.

Great location - right close to train station and a lless than a mile from city center. Lot of restaurants and eateries. Some Lanes are bit iffy at night.

Finding a parking lot is a challenge but is doable. Bit noisy at night if you like to sleep with your windows open.
Very good location nearby old town. If you plan to use public transport, this should be your obvious choice. Very helpful host at reception, he managed to address all our concerns within a minut. Strongly recommend!

The neighborhood is busy and sometimes loud. As a result we had to keep our windows closed most of the time.
The hotel is located quite near the train station so it's very convenient, offering an easy walk to Munich's main attractions. The apartment was clean and well-outfitted with a small kitchen. The reception staff were very helpful and able to answer all of our questions. This was a lovely place to stay.

Location is great if you need to do something close to the Main Train Station. It’s 20 minutes walking distance from Marienplatz. At some point you don’t feel in Germany. The place is safe but I’m not sure the environment is 100% family friendly, specially at nights.
Outstanding customer service and the amenities of the apartment. It was very clean.
