We visited during a really hot summer day, and with no aircon it became quite hot, could have been nice with a fan. But all in all still a really nice place to stay at.

Comfortable suite on the top floor of this recently and lovingly renovated old building. We received good and timely information about checking in from the very considerate and friendly staff, including information regarding the parking situation, which is opposite the hotel in a multi level Q-Park. The hotel is close to the beautiful old town so it was extremely easy to walk everywhere to see the main highlights. Breakfast was fairly basic but fresh and plentiful.

The hotel is in a 15th century building and the stairs are steep and narrow; it may be unsuitable for people with walking issues (although we liked it because it added to its charme and autenticity)

This charming hotel is right by the city pedestrian area, at a walking distance to all main attractions and in front of a huge car park. The staff is very kind and helpful (helped us to sort out an issue we had with my husband's laptop). Our room was big and charming, with a retro allure typical of ancient buildings and the breakfast buffet in the morning was rich and tasty

It is not possible to leave your baggage at the recepton, which is otherwise a standard in many hotels.

Newly renovated hotel, with beautiful details and some furniture from the old times. Easy check-in, even when the reception is not manned. We stayed in a room with terrace - the terrace was very small, but with a nice view, and the room was spacious and charming. Quiet location within the old town.

All was good.

1. Sensitive and extremely high-quality renovation of a large, old building. 2. Very large room and bed in a quiet position at the rear of the house. 3. Concept of "reduced staff levels" saves costs and actually works fine. 4. Breakfast is simple and adequate -upstairs room has moer light. 5. Parking very close by. Hotel provides a parking card with reduced rates. 6. Good, quiet location. The centre of Lüneburg is easily reachable on foot.

Such a lovely hotel! The room was large and beautifully decorated. The hotel is very quiet at night, even sleeping with the windows open, I heard nothing. The breakfast was good and the staff were very friendly. And the area around the hotel is so pretty! Lots of restaurants and beautiful shops right in the nearby streets.

1. Why do hotels who do everything else right, only provide one large (or fat and hard) pillow? Surely it is a small thing to provide an additional smaller/flatter pillow? So many hotels annoy their guests unnecessarily in this way. 2. Everything else was good.

1. Lovely, sensitive refurbishment of an old building, using highest quality fittings. 2. Parking (EUR10.00 per day) opposite the hotel -pick up parking card from hotel before entering the parking. 3. Location on the edge of the old town, easy walking to all amenities. 4. Large quiet room (no. 5) with big, very comfortable bed. 5. Excellent bathroom with large shower and fully-closing shower door, much appreciated. 6. Good breakfast with all the classical choices (including hard-boiled eggs). 7. The reception is unmanned for long periods, but the system with key code and details in the room works fine.

The location is perfect. The hotel is right in the city center (old town) with many shops and restaurants. Our room was very spacious with comfortable beds and a sizable bathroom. The hotel is in a historical building, which is several hundred years old and has been refurbished beautifully.

Beautiful hotel, with friendly staff. We arrived eariler than it was planned, and I just sent them a message is it possible to checkin early (around 1pm) and I got the response "your room is rady" :) The hotel itself, is old but beautiful and charming. Room was really clean and comfortable. Big tv, Hot shower, Ketell (with several tea bags), ... Also its very well located, you can find many good restaurants in the vicinity. In short, highly recommended.

No proper wardrobe, to put the clothes. No shampoo, conditioner, poor quality hand soap. Not possible to reach the reception, no phone number for the reception (f.ex., we needed an iron) Would be nice if the staff spoke any English.
