United KingdomWas clearly off-season and we assume restaurant would be functional within a month or so. Breakfast was to order one day and buffet the next, bar lit up at night but only room service. Hard to work out what was going on with the catering therefore but I don't think the lack of this was adequately reflected in the price.

GermanyThe beds are fine but slightly unsupportive, and the breakfast is a bit limited. The rooms themselves have no coffeemaker, so if you need coffee in the morning you need to dress for the breakfast room. Otherwise, everything is great.
The location of this hotel is excellent, right on the Untermarkt (old main street), a quick walk to everything in Murnau. We were unfortunately visiting because of a family member inpatient at the Unfallklinik, which is also walking distance. The hotel staff are friendly, warm and accommodating of every need or wish. They were understanding of our needs as family of a hospital patient, and flexible with additional parties arriving and booking more rooms on short notice. They also offered a discount for longer term stays. The rooms are spacious, clean, and fitted with furniture that makes it feel more like a personal home or apartment than a generic hotel room. Complimentary mineral water and laundry service added peace of mind, and the sauna, steam room and infrared cabine were comforting at the end of a long stressful day.

Very friendly staff, the hotel is perfectly placed, easy to find from the station and close to all the shops and restaurants. I will go back to it for sure. The restaurant was that good that we went twice in 3 days.
