The hotel is very central yet calm and quiet. Everything that one wants to see is within couple of minutes walk. The staff is wonderful, very friendly and helpful. Since I’m starting a new job in Lübeck, I’ll be a regular for sure!

Nothing really. A brighter light in the room might have been better for me given my eyesight, but that would be very picky.

I had a single room which for the price and the time that I spent in the room was perfect for my requirements. The room was clean and the bathroom was probably recently repainted and spotlessly clean. I was worried if the central location would be a problem, but not at all. It is opposite one of the main churches and the bells didn’t wake me up if they rang at all in the night and were pleasant to wake up to in the morning.

Very warm welcome on arrival. The receptionist found us a room on the 2nd (rather than 3rd) floor and even carried our heavy suitcase up to the room. This warmth extended to all the staff we met - all were exceptionally helpful and friendly. Delicious breakfast, sourced with the best of ingredients. We particularly enjoyed the Bircher muesli and yogurt, and lovely selection of jams. Also, the hotel is centrally located in the Altstadt, just 2 minutes from the Marktplatz.

The perfect location, in the city centre of Lübeck. The staff is friendly and welcoming. They want you to discover their city and are happy to share tips with you. The room was great, with enough space for two and a private bathroom. Very good breakfast, with vegetaria and lactose free choices.

Unfortunately no elevator - we did know this beforehand, though. Staff kindly put my bag in the room.

Specialty breakfast was great. Hotel stored our luggage before check-in. We had a great view across the road to historic church. Everything was very clean and staff were extremely helpful.

The hotel is located in the city center, right in front of the Marienkirche, making it super quick and easy to reach every part of the old city. The staff is very friendly and thoughtful. The room was spacious enough for a family of three, and the bed was comfy. Breakfast was a standard continental selection with a variety of cheeses and hams.

Nice but basic hotel right in the center of the city. It is close to all main attractions in the city. Breakfast is good with homemade products. It was expensive for what they offer...but it is in the city center! You can park the car close to the hotel in public parking place. Rooms are clean

Central location in the historic Altstadt. Wonderful breakfast with lots of choice (sweet and savoury). The room was clean and up to date. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Very noise environments. As the hotel is right next to the church and the bells keep going off, early morning and late nights, it's really disturbing. I used ear plugs but still heard the bells. To add to the noise there's a constructions site on the street outside, with excavaction ongoing from around 7 in the morning (July 2023)

Nothing. Just don't expect to sleep in late, as the church bells combined with noise from the street and from other guests in their room or in the corridor will wake up almost anyone from around 8 o'clock (that's when the first really heavy round of church bells chime in).

Very nice welcome by the reception, they had a room ready even though I arrived early - a little before 11. The single room was basic but practical. The large window could be opened at the side or on top, and was covered by both a blind and a curtain. The situation is very central in die Altstadt, so it's quite easy to pop in and out of your hotel in between exploring the sights (or shopping a little too much marzipan). There's a bus stop right along the street, only two stops from the railway station. The breakfast is basic, but with very good products - so I had everything I needed for a fine breakfast. No warm options, but when the other offers are of such quality this is good enough for me.
