The hotel is in a beautiful location surrounded by gardens and nearby parks. It was an easy walk to town. The staff was excellent and the room and the rest of the hotel were lovely. The food was delicious and served in a very gracious, pleasant, indoor and outdoor space.

Great hospitality, amazing view. Very good breakfast. Comfortable beds. Tea and coffee not available in the rooms. Most of the staff don’t speak English at all. No supermarket or other restaurant are near by.

The hotel is an historical building, you have direct access to lake and possible to do some hiking there. City center is just 10 minutes walk, staff is very nice and professional.

the surroundings are very beautiful and tidy, there was no dust in the rooms, everything was very clean, the breakfast was wonderful and the staff were all very nice and smiling, very close to the marina and the center, you could walk to everything. and guest cards that can be used for transportation, which is a big bonus. thanks to the employees for their hard work

For us it was no problem, but for people who have trouble walking, the step from the corridor up into the rooms would be an obstacle.

The hotel is located in a splendid and well-kept garden overlooking the Tiefwarensee. The buildings as well as the garden are very beautiful. The rooms as such were fine, but not exceptional. Breakfast was good, and we could store our bicycles safely in a locked bicycle garage overnight. The hotel is a little outside the town, but still within walking distance to a number of shops and restaurants. The habour was bustling, and we enjoyed our stay despite the weather.

Quiet, situated in a parc the hotel is really nice. Reseption woman which also helped in the restaurant, made our evening a good experience. She had a fantastic good mood, positive attitude and serviceminded. Food great.

There are a couple of businesses operating from the property, so work personnel arrive fairly early and can disturb the peace a little. such as the landscaping business and many staff, but this is a hotel that employs disabled people and that is a good thing. I was driving an EV, there were no charging facilities sadly. Shower - bath had 2 curtains, which left one having a shower int he dark, a glass screen may be a good idea to help lighting in the shower.

I had a wonderfully large room with a desk - work area and then a separate sitting area by a window looking onto the lake. With windows on 3 sides the room was light and lovely to be in. then there was a separate wardrobe area, before the bathroom which flowed really well. Heaps of parking spaces. My room was in a separate building to reception and breakfast and involved a little walk over to the other building. The local is on a big lake and there are heaps of walks one can do, or cycling trips. The city is an easy 15 min walk and has lovely old buildings. a beautifully aesthetic area as are the gardens and grounds. It is really lovely and quiet most of the time, and the birds are singing.

friendly staff. very clean. my room heating wasn’t strong so they moved me to a bigger room immediately (with better heating). breakfast was great with a lovely view of the lake, asked for a special request for my eggs to be made and no hesitation were made quickly, I liked that there was a coffee machine/ tea station/ fruits/ everything breakfast related really. would recommend!

Gorgeous little place on the lake with manicured, beautiful gardens. Splendid. Fabulous rooms with views of the lake and the gardens, attention to detail. With totally delicious breakfast buffet it is an affordable luxury.

The location was very beautiful and quiet, yet in walking distance to the town center. The breakfast was great; it was nice to eat outside on the terrace. The staff was exceptionally friendly.

Our room was on the small side and exactly above the kitchen, so quite noisy and smelly when we arrived. The noise of traffic from the other side of the lake is also clearly noticeable with the window open (it was very warm outside and inside). The breakfast is good but doesn't provide too many vegetarian/vegan options and ingredients are not labelled (for people with allergies/intolerance). Communication with the hotel was not so fluid (never replied to my message) and the receptionists seemed bothered to have to attend us for check-in (at 8.30 pm) and check-out.

The building is beautiful. The garden and the greenhouses were really wonderful. Also the view from the window. The breakfast on the terrace was also very nice. The choice of drinks in the room fridge is good and fairly priced, with nice wine glasses also available.

The breakfast was a bit dull and there was a queue with people told to return in 10-15 minutes. there was a intermittent buzzing in the room throughout the night, (a mechanical buzzing not a bug) couldn't pin point what it was, annoying though!!, The receptionists both checking were allergic to smiling and greeting properly, they seemed stressed or flustered.

i liked the gardens and location (even though Waren is not the most thrilling place to visit)
