Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).

Need tea and coffee facilities in the room as there's only a McDonald's nearby unless you want to get a bus further afield. Need more than one pillow on the bed.
Stayed for England's euro 2024 game in the Veltins arena, Good bus connections to Recklinghausen and Gelsenkirchen, staff although they didn't speak much English were friendly and the place was clean and tidy.

Unfortunately, the mattress was a bit too hard for my personal taste.
Clean rooms and facilities. Staff was super friendly and helpful. It's possible to enter also late at night with the room keys.

I booked a double bedroom, but on check in was told they only have 9 double bedrooms and they are the first ones to go. So don't be surprised if instead of two beds you end up sharing one bed with your friend.

The staff is not well to the guests need. Booked a later check out (after a long duscussion) got a wake up call at 10:30 to leave ?!?! No sorry or any other form of excuse. You should hire people who are trained in this sector

At the risk of sounding like a complainer or moaner there were several points: No proper restaurant although this was advertised No bar - only a snack bar Room was not made up as I was informed it would only be serviced if ai was staying more than 1 week? Plastic cups in the room - No glassware - Not on - I travel internationally a lot - for the price it was a disgrace. Would definitely not go there again or recommend this accommodation.
A disappointing hotel - the only advantage was proximity to my business.

Very disappointing place to stay in the middle of nowhere. Much like a UK travel lodge, but worse! Thankfully we were being met by German friends who could take us elsewhere. Rooms were very basic. We were part of a group of 5 and had nowhere to meet except for 2 chairs plus a computer chair in foyer. The bar didn't open until 6pm, so despite having a seating area, the doors were closed. We didn't get an opportunity to use this whilst staying. Breakfast was awful! Booked this at 15euros per person then told we had 10 minutes to get it as the assistant had to clear it all away. We were the only people in the breakfasting area. Granted the girl did let us sit an extra 15 mins, but then asked to clear up and leave. The scrambled eggs were few and looked disgusting. A choice of cold meats and one cheese (I'm veggie). Some fruit, bread, yogurt, tea and coffee. We had similar in another German hotel in Dusseldorf the day before for same price, however had much more choice and was more appetising and appealing! Second day we opted for McDonald's which is 5 minutes away. Normally wouldn't go near McD's however their breakfast was far superior and better value. On check-in one girl with long dark hair was very nice, however the other girls were pretty miserable when asking for assistance the other days. Quite a distance from train staton, so was 24 euros for 4 of us in taxi to get here, each way.
