I stayed here before many years ago and unfortunately it wasn’t the same experience. I found the staff to be a little abrupt. We arrived early and sat down for some lunch. I told the server that we had booked 3 rooms, as the sign on reception said to ask the restaurant staff. He just said you need to speak reception, which was empty. I realise we were early, but when we did finally check in, it was one of the restaurant servers anyway. Just thought he could have been a little more helpful. We had dinner there too. Some of the dishes were nice, but my friend had calamari and a side of oven vegetables. The calamari was frozen, those ones that look like onion rings and the vegetables were so overcooked. It wasn’t cheap either. My Dad had also asked for chips with his pizza which never came, but it was almost impossible to get their attention to ask where they were. They tried to charge us for the portion of chips, but when I told the server, we were then questioned by someone else who worked there. Chips were €5. It was extremely hot that night and unfortunately no fans were provided and we couldn’t keep the window open as it was right above the restaurant/bar. The restaurant staff at breakfast were lovely.

The hotel was right in the centre with outside seating on the river. Beautiful location. The breakfast was lovely.

Room was basic but very good for the one night we stayed. If I stayed longer would ask for a canal view. Did not have time for breakfast, but what we saw of others eating looked delicious.

We didn’t find the bed particularly comfortable. Some staff a bit impersonal.

Brilliant location by canal/waterfall - very picturesque. Nice bar and restaurant area leading onto outside area with table and chairs adjacent to the canal. Large spacious bedroom.

Needs reinvestment, sheets too small for the bed and it exposed that there was no mattress protector between the sheet and mattress. Sun umbrellas need urgent changing outside and the sun shades in the room all unpleasant to look at, in such a prominent location. Hotel itself was very clean. We didn’t have breakfast there so cannot comment on that. If the reinvestment is complete it would get a 10 from me.

Location, big rooms and beds. Nevio on check in was lovely and had perfect English! Even though in a popular area it was quiet at night to sleep. Staff on the terrace restaurant were very good.

Room and bathroom were a little tired and quite dingy. We had a twin bed room confirmed but they could only allocate us a double room when we checked in. The private parking (10 euros) is a few minutes walk from the hotel and not secure.

Excellent location. Nice bar and outside area beside the river with pretty views and close to the waterfall. Large room and quiet. Pleasant staff. Nice breakfast (17.50 euros).

The only thing to note is that the rooms do not have any mini fridge or a kettle to heat water.For couples with babies its a bit hard to store the milk or do formulas altough the restaurant staff was very helpful

Rooms overlooking the river are a little noisy as they are over the restaurant. But it stops serving food at 10. Unfortunately on the Saturday morning breakfast was extremely busy. We ordered some cooked food but it took so long to arrive we had to leave. So it was expensive for a croissant and coffee.

Location is excellent. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Easy to walk around the village.

The toilet was about a meter and a half from the floor. The builder must have been Dutch.

The room was spacious and comfortable with a little table by the window, from where you can see the canal and the waterfall (and Christmas tree in season). Parking was easy at the end of the street.
