As a family on a long trip in a car ,it was a bit complicated getting to and from town . The parking is a about 300m on a hill and there is no elevator while the rooms were on the 3rd floor . If you are traveling light - it shouldnt be a problem

Location is in the city center and one block from the water. Parking was only a few minute walk. Breakfast was typical- European meats for sandwiches plus eggs and bacon.

Parking was so difficult to find and the walk was really difficult because I had a big suitcase. Also there were little fruit flies in our room and the fridge didn’t really work.

The mattresses are quite soft for my liking. Also, it's likely to get quite warm in the summer.

I'd say the breakfast on offer here is a real highlight. A huge amount of care has been taken to make sure that there is a wide range of yumminess to satisfy the biggest fusspot. Everything is fresh and delicious.

Due to the fact that the hotel is really in the center and you cannot drive through the center from 11-6, we couldn't get to the parking. However there are other parking lots in the area for 10 euros for 24 hours so this was not a big issue.

Breakfast was fantastic! It was one of the cutest I have been to, prepared with so much love. Would 100% recommend it. Fantastic location. The room was small but very clean.

The reception wasn't manned when we came but we were lucky to meet the staff on their way out who helped us with the key from the key boy as we weren't able to understand the instructions...

Location was perfect... breakfast was great...the room had a view over the market square as advertised...the bed was comfortable & tea and coffee maker in the room was good...

For us personally the mattress on the bed was too soft. But this is just preference.

The hotel was located directly in the center of the beautiful Cochem. Parking was just a few minutes walk, just like the riverside, restaurants, shops, and the river. The room was small, but perfect for a short stay. Had everything we needed, was extremely clean every day again and even offered free bottles of water on a daily base, a sweet on our pillow, tea, etc. the breakfast was amazing! Lots of choices between savory and sweets and the people from the hotel were very welcoming and made sure you had everything you needed. We were really happy with this hotel and would definitely go back in case we would return to Cochem. Can recommend.

This is a lovely hotel in a beautiful location. Check in was easy and the rooms were spotless. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. You may need to be aware that credit cards are not accepted.

There were no bars of soap in the room. Only those bottles of body wash. Had to use body wash for all.

The rooms look like they were renovated. They were very nice. We had a great view of the courtyard and the castle. We arrived after lobby hours, so we did not have any interaction with staff, but they sent directions on how to retrieve our room keys from a lock box that was conveniently located just inside the front door.

I most highly recommend staying here! The checkin was super easy and the rooms were fully updated and comfortable. The bathrooms were also nicely updated and had the best showers we had on our entire stay in Germany! You can’t beat the location. But the best part of the stay was definitely the breakfast buffet. Seriously, the best breakfast spread with the best variety of offerings. People mentioned concerns about parking - The parking is just directly up the hill (5 minutes’ walk, directly down one street) from the hotel, and closer than parking we had at hotels in other cities. And, yes, Cochem is worth a two-night stay.

The beds were a bit too soft for us. We booked a small room which had a view to an inner court-yard. The larger rooms have a view on the market.

This is a family operated residence, so the hosts are super-friendly. Together with that the location is fantastic as well as the breakfast. There are snacks and drinks available at the reception as well as a lot of information about things to do and restaurants.
