How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

A little hot inside during nights in hot summer. Shutters should be useful to block out the sun during the day
Very clean and everything works. But not luxury. Very nice situated in old town. Great price.

The wifi doesn't work at all and the sharp edges of some corners at the room very painful when hits & can't be avoided all the time
The location is perfect and the building is cozy and historic vibe & it was possible for very early checking which is perfect after long trip

The hotel in itself is very charming and nice. Old building with a retro vibe. The bed was very comfortable and the room clean. There were however a few things which made the stay less pleasant: the walls are extremely thin and one can hear everything going on in the neighbouring rooms. That being said, it's noone's fault that our neighbours were very loud, but the fact that the cleaning crew started vacuuming at 8 in the morning on a Sunday shows disinterest towards the guests' comfort. Other than that, our room had mold in the shower. All in all the facilities are good, the location is great just the staff could be more mindful.

the reception was close at time of arrival while we arrived before closing hours of the reception.traveling with 3 kids after hours of car travel that was disappointing.

Not that I needed it, there is no reception over the weekend. Friday, Saturday. There is no housekeeping to freshen the room either. Shower was extremely small and the shower head was a almost impossible to use.
Location cannot be beaten. The bed and linens were nice and comfortable. Room was small but adequate for what you want to do here which is get out and explore the city itself.

WiFi is extremely slow and unreliable! Sound proofing is not great, I can hear my neighbor fart really loud and snore at night 😆😆😆 it was not so bad that I couldn’t sleep, I had a good chuckle, but I’d still rather not hear that!
Great location! In the center of the old city. Walking to all kinds establishments. Hotel is clean, generally has all I needed.

The bathroom was old fashion. We can not leave our bags at the reception for a long time during our walking in the city, it was a problem.

Well, in general, you will get what you paid for. Receptionist is there only in the morning to collect the payments. Never seen anyone around. Everyone can access the hotel from the street without any issues, which is a bit sketchy. Nobody explained where are the wifi credentials. The bathroom window facing the opposite building apartments and has no window curtains or anything else to block the view when the light is on. They kinda give you a key (one per room, not per person), collect the money - for everything else you are on your own.
Location is superb, walking distance to everything, parking garage nearby.
