Unfortunately, the fridge in our room didn't work.

The staff is very friendly, both at the reception and at the restaurant. Location is very central in the middle of Oberstdorf. Couldn't be better. Parking facilities are convenient. Wellness area is small but very nice.

Wow! We were blow away by this mountain village. We needed a place to stay for one evening to cut the drive from Switzerland to Munich. Oberstdorf is like something from a movie set... in fact some of the movie scenes from Eddie the Eagle were filmed here. The hotel is in the heart of the pedestrian zone yet provides on-site parking which is a huge bonus. We were surprised to learn the hotel restaurant was Michelin star rated. We had dinner and breakfast--both were amazing. The rooms have been recently renovated and are super nice. Staff was above & beyond. No need to look any further for a place to stay... this is it!

These was nothing i didn't like. I loved it all.

The breakfasts were very good. A big variety to choose from and even fresh cooked eggs and bacon if you want. They have fresh fruit, breads, meats, cheese, veggies, sauces, coffee, juices, and other item like cereal, yogurt etc. This hotel has a restaurant and the guest rooms are very comfortable. You feel like a part of the town.

Everything went perfectly, we arrived and received the bus ticket which lets you get closer to the hiking trails. The sauna and whirlpool were amazing after the hike. The breakfast the next day was amazing. The hotel is super clean and the staff are friendly. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. Highly recommended for a trip in the Allgäu area.

The parking is a nuisance as the hotel is in a traffic-free area. One can get to the hotel to drop off luggage but there are limited parking spots available at the hotel (for rent). The whole town seems to have no free public parking. However, the nearest lot is free between 6 PM and 8 AM, which might work fine, if you take the car during the day to go ski. Otherwise, the hotel parking is recommended as it is cheaper for the day than the town parking lots.

Very friendly staff. Fantastic breakfast. Right in the centre of Oberstdorf with plenty of restaurants, stores and even a cinema nearby. Modern and pretty room with a lovely bathroom.

We got there by car and finding it was a bit of a nightmare.

We had a lovely room with balcony, the breakfast buffet was fantastic, overall great facilities right in the middle of town.
