How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).

Very spacious room, easily reachable by car and nice restaurant too. Hotel staff are fine, restaurant staff are great and it has a nice atmosphere. Great overnight stay for us and would recommend. No fridge in our room, pool is sort of room temp so a bit fresh, good saunas though (only open in the evenings).

Mini balcony.

We stayed for one night with our child and dog. The location is stunning — very peaceful and surrounded by nature. The pool and parking were included, which was a nice bonus. Breakfast was average, but unfortunately, a large tour group was staying at the same time. In the evening, the restaurant was closed to other guests due to the group’s private event. In the morning, most of the breakfast buffet had already been cleared out by the group, and staff were slow or unable to replenish the food. Sadly, we didn’t get to enjoy a proper breakfast. Overall, it’s a beautiful place, but the guest experience may vary depending on the hotel’s occupancy.

Need to top up breakfast selection more frequently during busy times as cheese was left practically empty for 10min. Room and cupboards need airing and had a stale stagnant smell coming from the cupboards

There was mold smell, toilet was smelling bad. We had to ventilate a bit to avoid the bad odor. Electric charging was vehicle was slow.
Breakfast was nice and the people managing the place were really nice. Views of the mountains were nice. We reached late but check-in was made easier with the keys made available for us in the reception area.

None of the saunas worked at the spa. We experienced some noise in the evening as our room was facing the terrace and there were people having dinner and drinks there.
Good value for money (especially compared to other hotels in the Neuswanstein/ Linderhof area). It was a quick overnight stay, having breakfast at the terrace was nice.

Yellow bathroom towels, mattress was very hard. Pillows not great. coffee facility nice touch but there was no milk.. Bathroom very basic a bit on the older side but ok for a night or two. parking limited. Reception area could be nicer and more inviting. Breakfast decent, coffee machine is not enough for the capacity, had to wait quite a bit in a line to get a coffee. trays of food were empty at times and very slowly replaced and by 8:30 lot of the fresh baked goods were gone and not replaced. Perhaps they did not cater enough as there was a bus of travellers.

Property has no A/C in the rooms , So during the night if you keep the windows open you will suffer from insects and mosquitoes , so it will be good idea if they put nets on the windows so you can open the windows for cooling without getting the insects inside the room while sleeping
The Room was specious and Clean , WIFI good , Staff were very mice and helpful. Car parking was available near the hotel, Almost everything was nice . We enjoyed our stay.

The only down side for us wasn't really the hotel's fault. While we were there, a heat wave kept the area quite warm. As the hotel had no air conditioning, it was a bit uncomfortable to rest
The area is AMAZING! The breakfast had all you could ask for. Shops and restaurants were in walking distance and it wasn't overcrowded. We loved walking through the local historic church and tasting some of their beer. We got some souvenirs from oberammergau, only a short drive from the hotel.

We couldn't find out at what time the breakfast buffet was available, so we missed breakfast. It wasn't a big deal, since we were leaving anyway, but it would have been nice to have a quick bite.
The communication was great, checking in was easy and pleasant. We were severely delayed, but the staff kept a key out for us as we discussed. It saved our night! The water pressure in the shower was incredible, and we always love when there is a water cooker available for a midnight cup of tea, or a quick cup of noodles.
