The room was spacious and comfortable for 4 people. The location gives you easy access to all attractions. The facilities were well maintained.

Parking available, but not included in the price so you need to pay additional 10 eur. The restaurant is way overpriced for the quality. I understand this is touristy place, but it's too much.

Room with a view of the castle, which is nice. Clean, comfortable. Good tasty breakfast with enough choices. Parking available. About 30 mins walk to the castle.

There is a city tax that needs paid at the end that caught us by surprise (everything was packed up so had to drop our rucksack and get our card out). The servers were great the first night as we struggled through our German adding sign language and pointing to menus, the second night the waiter was not as kind and took it upon himself to bring out what we ordered and something else that sounded like it (their menu says solo kugel for ice cream which we ordered in straticella flavor, he brought us a Hugo which was a spritzer) he was then very aggressive about being tipped which we haven't encountered anywhere else in our 20 day European adventure.

Convenient to castles and town. If you're active everything is walking distance. Clocked 16 miles one day during our stay walking to Nueschwanstien, Marienbrücke, and the treetop trail to Austria.

The hotel is a sweet, little place, right near Neuschwanstein und Hohenschwangau castle. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and responded to questions very quickly before our arrival. The room was very comfortable, the food was amazing, and everything was very clean. We would stay here again in the future.

Location of the hotel is great if you are planning to visit the castles. Sleeping in a room with Neuschwanstein Castle and being in the area after the day tourists are gone is really special. Being able to have early bird tickets for the castles is also great. Our room was also very spacious with a clean interior and good bathroom as well.

Nothing! We had a great stay

We had a great stay! The view from our room (Romantik Zimmer) was amazing, with view of the Neuschwanstein schloss! And breakfast was really really good! The bed and shower was very good and the personel was friendly. And it was a great plus that we could walk to Neuschwanstein from the hotel!

In Ludwigs Strübl, in front of the hotel, a man started to use the leafblower every morning around 7. It was annoyingly loud. We would recommend to use broom instead. It is on the main road, so traffic starts shortly before 8 am.

The hotel is very nice, close to both castles. Room is clean, comfortable and nice. Cleaned and organized each day. Breakfast is delicious! We tried restaurant for dinner, it was mediocre. Beergarten was better. Staff is kind. The main traffic ends around 6-7 pm, till around 7 am it was relatively calm.

Our standard double room was very small and did not have the mountain views expected. Extremely hot when we stayed and no aircon.

Terrific location for visiting Neuschwanstein Castle. Great breakfast and good restaurant and bar. Ample parking for hotel guests. Very tranquil location to wonder around in the evening when castle visitors have gone. Stunning local scenery.

Hauling our luggage up to the second floor was the worst part. Everything else was great.

The location was perfect for access to both castles. the Lake was a short walk away and the City of Fussen is a 5 min drive away. The breakfast was very good. Dinner at the restaurant was excellent. the staff went out of their way to help out. The hotel was very charming and rally played a role in the experience of the area.

Loved the location- just as the photos show. So close to anything needed. And easy to figure out transportation up to castle. Breakfast was super. We arrived late evening, called and dinner was ready quickly yet tasty. Would love to return.
