We liked being a few klm away from Oberstdorf in a more rural setting. Our comfort room in the annexe had a nice seating area and balcony. Swimming Pool had good covered access from the annexe. Restaurant had nice views and good food. Free local buses.

The rooms were excellent — clean, spacious, and very comfortable. Every detail was well thought out, making the stay truly relaxing. The breakfast was exceptional — this was my first time in Germany, and I must say it was the best breakfast I’ve had, with a wide variety of delicious options catering to different tastes. All other facilities were excellent too — from the well-maintained common areas to the overall ambience.

My single room was no where near as nice as those pictured. This 4-star hotel didn't even have a kettle in the room. (available to rent for 5 euro per day...disappointing.) Most of the breakfast staff was very nice. However, that was not the case with the reception staff.

The breakfast was very good and the wellness spa sauna and steam bath area was also very nice.

What I didn't like is that the lavatory was clogged and not draining.

I liked the ambience of the room. It was clean and all the things I needed was there. The breakfast buffet was also super and there were a lot of options to choose from. At night i was able to enjoz the indoor pool as I was alone and felt like i owned the place.

This was a great place to stop. The location was excellent in that it was possible to do good walks from the hotel door. The food both at breakfast and dinner was very good and the hotel facilities were excellent - good use of the sauna, hot tub and pool was made. The free shuttle bus to and from Oberstdorf station was much appreciated.

The room is a bit outdated.

We stayed there for a night before hiking the Alpes. Great location to reach Kleinwalserthal. Super pool and sauna area. Didn't do much more. Good breakfast.

The attitude of the personal: we asked to stay in the main building, they refused even the hotel was half full. When we left the hotel, we said “Hello” and the receptionist answer was “Ok”. Never felt so undesired in a hotel. Is it a former SS hotel ?

Staying in the 3rd house, there is a row of open garages to park the cars. However, all are double spots but unfortunately they are so tight that only a single car can enter, which lead to us having to park on the green.

Nice restaurant with exceptional breakfast and (optional) dinner. Pretty and spacious apartment-like rooms. All houses are connected underground, which keeps you dry and warm when visiting the restaurant or the pool. Latter we enjoyed a lot. Also the whole pool area is well-thought.
