Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThe hotel needs a little bit of modernization. Lift did not work and with a heavy suitcase up to the second floor was not very pleasant.There was a bar on the ground floor or something similar and little bit noisy but we shut the windows not so much of an issue. No air conditioning.
Clean hotel, helpful staff, very comfortable beds and pillows slept like a baby, good breakfast.

United StatesSmoking outside our window, elevator out of service without any signs or notice and unfortunately located close to a helicopter pad causing lots of early morning loud noise from 8-10ish. We paid for an additional bed for the 3 of us and it was unusable. So hard, it didn't provide a good night's sleep. Wifi isn't a thing there - not good for call, streaming nor social media.
The location was lovely. A very cute resort town.

Shower very small and leaks. Had to ask twice for toilet paper. Listing stated taxes and levies included hotel tried to change for these again when checking in.

SloveniaI booked three rooms and informed the hotel we’d arrive late. When we got there around 10 PM, no one was at reception. A resident there came to me and handed me a phone with the hotel administrator, who claimed they had no record of our booking due to a 'system failure.' He offered two rooms instead of the three we booked. After insisting, we got three rooms, but only one had a balcony as promised. One room was tiny with non-working lights, and they had loud ventilation noises all night. For 100 EUR per room per night, this was unacceptable. The poor communication, substandard rooms, and lack of compensation made us feel mistreated. Also do not count on the Booking support, after 3 days, they still didn’t respond to my messages.
The fact that property is not fake, that it exists.
