It would have been nice if it would be possible to boil water in the room for a tea or coffee.

Not really a hotel. Rooms only available after 16:00 hrs. No restaurant, no breakfast. Reception had very little information and was not very helpful

wifi isn’t reachable in the rooms and the Property has no A/C in the rooms , So during the night if you keep the windows open you will suffer from insects and mosquitoes , so it will be good idea if they put nets on the windows so you can open the windows for cooling without getting the insects inside the room while sleeping

Rooms spacious and Clean . Staff were nice and friendly. Car parking was available near the property.

I stayed at your hotel for 3 nights from and unfortunately, the WiFi was not working the entire time. This caused inconvenience as I needed internet access during my stay.

Pillows were bit uncomfortable. Bathroom didn't have a proper way to ventilate so need to open the door when it's smelly. It was hard to work with given shower jel packet. Should have brought one with us. The hotel didn't have a designated car park even it said free parking which is actually side of the road. Still these are minor inconveniences, so overall it was a nice stay.

The room was nice and fairly clean. It was easy to check in and check out.

We checked in rather late and host told us where we could find food in next town. Parking was along the street and fine. Room had a spectacular view. Breakfast was great!

The location is top notch. Nothing to complain about it. But the hotel don’t have lift if someone has difficulty in accessing stairs then they should avoid.

The hole room, bad and furniture are outdated. The matresses were uncomfortable and squeaking so that we couldn't rest due to the sound.

We stayed in this hotel just for one night. The location to continue our trip was very good. Breakfast was included, and it had enough variety.

The room check-in is after 4 PM and checkout is 10 AM. The checkout could be 12:00 noon considering late check-in times. Only Pizzeria is available for dinner

I don't know what has happened to Oberau but all of a sudden most places are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays so the only option will be the restaurant next to the hotel or a kebab shop. Fairly late checkin (which is clearly described in the booking) but can be a bit late if you want to freshen up after a sweaty hiking tour

Great value for money. Breakfast buffet is sufficient enough but only boiled eggs in the "hot food section", no bacon, scrambled eggs etc.

There are not enough sockets in the room and they are located in quite inconvenient places, would be nice to have at least one socket near the bed. The lamps are very dim, it was quite complicated e.g. to read in the evening. The mounting for the shower head was broken so I had to keep it in my hand during taking a shower. All in all, these are not critical issues but would be nice to fix them. And, last but not least, it was a bit overpriced from my point of view (I admit this to be my fault because I haven't booked it in advance, just a couple of days before my trip).

Nice hotel, located not far from the main touristic spots like mountains around Garmisch-Partenkirchen, monastery in Ettal, old town of Oberammergau, etc. which all are easily reachable by public transport. The Alpine nature around the hotel is incredible, pure serenity of a mountain village. The hotel itself is pretty modern and very clean, the furniture is quite comfortable. A road passes nearby but despite of that the rooms are very quiet. The temperature in the room wasn't too high even in very hot days though my room was not equipped with an air conditioner. The staff is very friendly and helpful but not annoying. The breakfast is tasty and sufficient for the whole day activities.

1. The breakfast was limited but just enough. 2. Checkin allowed from 4pm onwards and you need to check out by 1030 am next day. 3. Limited English speaking ability of the reception staff. 4. The male attendant (I assume the husband-the hotel is a family run business) did not had enough time to answer my questions. 5. Approx.800 mts from the Train station with the connection to Garmish running every hour. So you need to plan carefully. 6. Taxi waiting time is atleast 30 mins.

1. I had booked the quadraple room. This is good enough for a family with 2 kids. There was a bunk bed. 2. The room was clean. 3. Next to the Shell Gas station-so you can find a lot of stuff there. Eg. coffee, sandwiches, drinks etc

Hotel located in calm area. But very near to Ettal abbey (went to Intenationale sommerakademie - ausome 5h lasting concerts !!!), only 1h from München. Room cosy.
