A kettle in the room, the size of the hotel worked against it as It became just a stop off point, albeit a nice one. The Beirstube was horrible, insufficient staff to deal with the number of people using it.

Room was huge and very nice, everything I could have needed bar 1 thing, no kettle. What is it about hotels in the continent that don't think guests might need a kettle? Underground garage was a bonus for our bikes.

The showers in the men‘s dressing room are broken and not fixed. The lockers are old fashioned and need a. 1 € coin to be used. The noise level in our rooms 807B and 808B was high due to service rooms opposite and the delivery trucks in the morning. No a la carte dinner.

The options the hotel offers for all seasons. The friendliness and supportiveness of the employees.

No coffee/tea option in the room Our room were looking out on outdoor sport area and the other windows looked into the untidy back yard. We expected views of nature. Evening buffet dishes were not marked/named.

Very standard room, nothing special, very small bathroom (difficult for 2 people to be there at the same time). Double Bed was actually 2 single beds put next to each other, very uncomfortable for a couple. Mini bar was actually an empty fridge, not even water inside. We stayed for 2 nights, no one came to clean the room (one lady came 2 hours before our departure and offered to change the towels!!) Very strange for 4 stars Hotel.

Personal were friendly and answered all our questions about the surrounding region. Breakfast was really good with a variety of options. Check in and check out went very smoothly.

Bike stands in bike room are not really good - they support just a wheel not frame so for example road bikes with narrow tires need to be leaned against wall.

Locked shared room for bicycles. Nice big tidy room. I needed a room for one night because it was raining on my bikepacking trip so bivouac was not an option - I am satisfied because I reserved room just 2 hrs before checking and everything was quite fine.

Mold around the pool and on the chairs. Changing rooms not cleaned, shampoo out. In the room, the curtains are broken, the plaster is falling off the wall.

There were vegan options at all meal times, but limited to fruit and veg dishes - no protein in anything. It wouldn't have been hard to incorporate nuts, beans or lentils occasionally. We weren't offered all useful information at check-in, eg. the free Allgäu Walser tourist card or complimentary robes and towels for the pool/spa. Luckily we knew enough German to spot notices about them and ask at reception.

Great breakfast buffet and choice at dinner. The pools were excellent and make sure you get your free Allgäu Walser card, which gives free bus travel around the region, including the one from the hotel into town, plus discounts on loads of attractions. Rooms were big and comfortable. Views from the rooms and the restaurant were stunning.

Very nice property, the employees are friendly and helpful. The evening meal impressed us a lot, there are many kinds of food for all tastes. Everything is fresh, and the trays with food are filled very often even until the end of the dinner.We like it here and we’ll definetly came back .
