How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The cleaning was not great. When I arrived the toilet had stains.
The room was spacious and comfortable and the saff was very friendly and accommodating.

Window didn't close properly. Room was very hot and noisy. Trams and a busy road outside. No tea or coffee facilities in the room or lobby. (Though nice receptionist gave me a kettle the second day).

Great value for money accommodation close to the city with direct access to public transport. The room was very clean & tidy, and contains all the essentials for a short visit. Staff were very helpful arranging luggage storage upon check-out.

not really bad, but parking is very narrow and on an old duplex parking system for 15€ per day. It's manageable, if you know your car, but wouldn't recommend it with a larger or heavier car

The host at the reception was very kind and hospitable! The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable, the shower very good and clean. Free parking on the street in front of the hotel!

It is quite hard to understand that building is the hotel, I did not see any “Hotel Allee” sign, just random leaves…
Once you enter, it has a lovely reception area, easy check in. The room was quite cosy and warm. Everything was clean, there was even a mini fridge in case for a need.

The bathroom was large but not very user-friendly - no good place to hang a towel or leave your clothes to change into (that ledge was not sufficient), and it was so big it was quite cold. Not much place in the rest of the room to put stuff down, either (nothing but the small side-tables). There was only one outlet on each side of the bed, so one had to choose between the lamp or charging your phone. The directions for how to contact the front desk after hours to check in could have been much clearer, and the room was way on the other side of the compound- one had to walk past a partially-finished building, it was not well lit, and really not super clear where we were going...
The bathroom was very large and fancy, and the bed was comfortable, with individual blankets for each person. But the morning staff person was nice and helpful.

Cleanliness in the bathroom: Nobody wants to see the previous guests' hairs all over the place. Waste bin in the restroom was just an open tray (whoever decided on that must have been a man totally unaware of female hygiene needs). Room design was very modern in an impractical way: No decent chairs/table/night tables. Designer fridge that was so loud we turned off off right away.
Quiet room in the rear building (dark open path away from the main hotel). Friendly personell. Decent breakfast.

The breakfast is not worth the asking price
Friendly and approachable staff, excellent facilities. Unexpectedly luxurious rooms, with a small balcony even. Great decode. Practically located. Even the additional 3rd bed was incredibly comfortable and spacious, as opposed to the prison mattresses in other hotels.

Entering the hotel is a tiny bit complicated if you arrive in the evening (need to call someone). And the rustling "plastic" underbedsheet is also a bit strange
Nicely designed room with convenient balcony, very clean, comfortable bed. Quiet surrounding. Everything you need for a short stay. Good breakfast, Very friendly and helpful staff.

I stayed only one night and everything was fine. Large room not in the main building, but accessible from the street behind the hotel. Room was relatively clean.
