How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content

- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).

They had a sushi night which we didn't want and alternative menu was not normal one but just a few choices.Meant we had to find alternative.Fortunately there was an excellent Italian restaurant (Zum Hasen) just a short walk away.

We had problem with the heating, first day it didn't work and it was not to strong the next day either, on the third night it was ok. Unfortouneatly it was very cold nights in april so we got cold during the night. Sauna only available in the afternoon, I usually do it after morning excercise so it i was disappointed.
We traveled with our 2 babies to Laupheim, I have been to the hotel before and I liked it. The Gym is small but good for a quick workout. We stayed in the studio, it is spacious and with kids the kitchen is very good.

- The lighting of lobby is too dim. - It would be nice to have an electric kettle in the room for coffee/thee.
- Great breakfast with a wide range of choices and great atmosphere. - If you skip the room cleaning, you will get one free drink, including a 0.5L beer. - Hotel restaurant has a good price quality balance.

Glass door to the bathroom / toilet.
Recently renovated to a high standard. Excellent breakfast with a large vegetarian component on offer, Plenty of parking space in hotel, although rather expensive.

We had family in the village near by, so it was a great modern comfortable stay. The breakfast was amazing. Great small village to get the German feel.

Room was a rather hot, like all German hotels, the temperature is just too high, so much so I had to removed the duvet and sleep under the cover
restaurant was good both at breakfast and the evening meal we had was excellent and to be recommended. Car parking was provided and included in the price.

Everything was perfect !
One of the best hotels we ever stayed . Exceptional customer service and exceptional high standards all over the hotel ! A very luxurious feeling in all the areas including the studio room ! Staff super friendly and polite ! We very highly recommend it to anyone without a second thought !

The photos advertised versus the room we received was very different. The photos showed modern rooms and our room was old, super mall and almost felt like a closet. Our room was also located right above the outside smoking area and all the smoke would go into our room.
Beautiful and unique property - located centrally in Lauptheim. We loved the restaurant, decor and location. Unfortunately our room was the only dissatisfaction.

When I arrived at 2230 after a very long journey without a case as it had been lost in Amsterdam I was reasonably down, it wasn't helped when I asked for some food. No food available at this time. No where nearby where I could get food. The bar shut, no drinks from bar. I went to my room and drunk water and a pillow choc biscuit. There are no coffee or tea making facilities in my room. I had a double bed with 2 single quilts. 1 large quilt would be better. My first night I was cold and didn't know they had radiators I could turn on because they were hiding behind curtains 2nd and third night much better as I knew about radiators and lifted curtains to help heat to come through.
The hotel is pleasantly decorated and the reception is friendly and helpful. The connected steak restaurant is superb and breakfast is also very nice. The reception was very helpful on a morning, booking taxis and also put my found case in my room and returned my lost phone. The room I had was sufficient and the shower was powerful and refreshing.

Instructions about how to park.
The location was very good. I liked the modern decor and the staff were very friendly. They went out of their way to keep the bar open for us later than usual.

no privacy in the shower box(clear glass box). as you don't have a door or clear separation from shower area to bathroom sink area, the whole room gets humid after shower.

The room wasn’t that clean as the carpet had a lot of black plushes.
I like the possibility of having a gym and sauna. Even though they where very minimal it was clean.
