How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Tea and coffee facilities in the room would be a great addition and I thought the norm for German hotels. Drinks were a bit slow in the restaurant at dinner.
Hotel stop enroute to Denmark. We really liked that it had a playground and a pool to burn a bit of energy off for our daughter. It was a short turn off from the main roads but in a quiet location. It has a sauna and steam room plus a gym you can use, all included. Tennis courts are outside. We ate at the restaurant for dinner and for breakfast both times the meal was great and staff very friendly. Room was good with the sofa bed set up for my child. Room had lots of extra you don't see in modern hotels such as robes, slippers, sewing kit, flannels etc. They provided a free bottle of sparkling water too. If you're staying a bit longer there is a forest path from the hotel.

The hotel and grounds look run down and old. The room was very fine though. Outside buildings (all wooden) are falling apart. Dilapidated tennis court. The restaurant was fully booked on arrival but we found a very nice local restaurant nearby
Pretty good breakfast. Nice setting close to forest. Good size room and bathroom.

The furniture in the restaurant and around the hotel could be better clean. The room was clean, but the floor seemed to be a bit sticky. It seemed that they had clean, but maybe using too much product and not wash the way properly.
Cozy, interesting hotel, with large comfortable room, all very well set it for a family of four with a baby. Very beautiful and quiet environment delicious food for the dinner in the restaurant and breakfast as well. Great amenities.

Very helpful and friendly staff. We were travelling with a dog who is not welcome in the restaurant, but the staff were very helpful and we were welcome to eat outside on the terass with our dog.

Definitely as single bed. I haven't slept on that since I was a child, but it was very comfortable.
Beautiful location in the country. Thr breakfast was delicious.

Hotel location is better accessed by Car. No Supermarket/Restaurants near by.
Friendly staff. The rooms were big enough and it was comfortable for us. Hotel had a good breakfast menu. Pool and Sauna were relaxing.

Everything as expected while booking the room. The wellness suite is very good for intense relaxation moments. We didn’t event go do the wellness area. We had a steam sauna and a whirlpool inside the room :)

There were no massages available (this was not indicated when we booked) and part of the reason we booked was to treat ourselves to spa treatments.
Spacious rooms, excellent food and friendly service from staff. The swimming pool was lovely.

I know that AC is not something that is very common in German hotels but when it is 30 degrees outside, the warmth is unbearable. I would recommend the hotel to put a fan in each room at least

A nice Hotel in beautiful surroundings. Close to the road (A7), but still on the countryside. Very friendly staff. We booked with 30 min planning because we were on the road from Switzerland to Sweden. Great breakfast! We did not use the spa, but next time 😀 Pets allowed!
