Breakfast was tasty and there was a good variety. The room had two distinct areas, with a comfy bed and linens.

The pillows could have been better. I had to use a cushion to compliment it.

I booked at the Adler in Botenheim because I was visiting family in Brackenheim, which is right next door. It is also an excellent jumping-off point if you are visiting Tripsdrill, the huge amusement park/wildlife park complex. The room was spacious for a single, with everything in its place, very well planned. It was quiet and there was plenty of parking in the hotel's own lot for my rental car. The Adler is famous for its restaurant: I invited my uncle and aunt, their two sons and their daughter-in-law for dinner and it was first-class. The breakfasts were also lovely, especially the omelet which was made to order with fresh herbs, delicious. A very pleasant stay and everything worked out beautifully.

If you cannot handle getting your luggage up at least one flight of stairs, the Adler may not be for you. I'm not sure they have an elevator. Also, I did not see any signs of air conditioning. During my stay in May, this was not an issue, but in mid-summer it might be.

The hotel was stunning! A beautiful gem tucked into a quiet neighborhood. Attention to detail and decor was made everywhere you looked. We particularly enjoyed the covered balcony/porch adjacent to the room where we spent an evening with our wine and cheese, enjoying the view of the local church tower as it rang out its melodious chimes.

    Can't think of one thing!
