2 things; 1.. We were waiting 1 hour for checking out because their payment terminals was buggy. 2.. We paid a reservation fee of 50€ that we never recieved back. They couldnt make it work at the place so we agreed they should transfer it later- that never happened

We loved this - how dog friendly it was, with treats for the doggies. It was possible to sleep super well in the beds. They were really good.

On our first night, our group had dinner in the hotel restaurant, the setting was lovely, the food all looked very fancy and was generally good, my steak was lovely. During this meal two people from our group ate the salmon with caviar in the restaurant. This was the only meal that they both ate on arrival in Mainz having travelled and arrived seperately. Just over 24 hours later both were violently ill, starting within 1hr of each other, this carried on for at least 4 days after check out from the hotel, resulting in them missing the second meeting with clients that they were in Mainz to attend. We informed the hotel and they investigated after we had left, they informed us that they had looked into it and deduced that the salmon dish was fine and it wasnt their fault. As a group we wholeheartedly disagree with this decision. We travel to Mainz regularly for work, we are there again next week, its very unlikely that we would stay in the hotel again or recomend to colleagues.

The staff were friendly and welcoming on arrival, carrying our bags up the stairs at reception and guiding us to the lifts. Some of our rooms were upgraded which was a nice surprise. The rooms were large & clean, beds were comfortable and the products provided were lovely. Breakfast had a good selection and was tasty. When we encountered issues below the staff were accomoidating, allowed us to check out late and provided plenty of cool water/chamomile tea which was all greatly appreciated.

bed had not been cleaned under in some time (I had something fall under and to crawl around to get it back.) Train station area is rather dirty (Not hotel's fault)

breakfast was good Day shift staff at front desk was especially great. Always had a smile Had a great fan brought up, when we said it was hot breakfast room staff very nice it had a lift restaurants near by.

they charged 30€ extra for wifi use for 2 nights this was first time any hotel charged for wifi which is free on all hotels housekeeping was not done daily

location was good just opposite to central train station main attractions were nearby including old town

Close to train station. Very nice people especially kitchen staff, worth mentioning Osiris and The tall bearded chef who made great omlette and pastries.

The room and bed was clean but the room was slightly dusty all over. But overall, great room. The wifi didn’t let me connect with my bonvoy account so I couldn’t get good internet.

Great location, literally seconds from the train station! Staff was very lovely and professional. My room was giving onto the courtyard and was extremely quiet.

the correspondences i had with the hotel set me off and was not very optimistic as i felt that they are very strickt and not willing to help or support.

Their internet is terrible, it has problems connecting and it's very slow. The area outside the hotel is unsafe at night.

Very nice and comfortable hotel, the service staff is great and very friendly, also very polite. Good breakfast and working air conditioning. Osiris at breakfast service is really great!

Room is abit cramped once luggage is laid out but acceptable for price.

Convenient location directly opposite to Mainz HBF as our base for travels. Early check-in after our long haul flight albeit with a fee (€10-20) depending on membership.
