    “Great quirky hotel, as listed in 'Man from Seat 61' UK site. We paid extra for Teain Room at the front of the hotel.Good view of yard where trains were getting coal fuel before setting off on their journey. Model Train around dining room to deliver drinks was cute. German food on menu with English translations. Station is a short walk and tickets to other sites available there. We did the Broken trip, but could have done others if there was more time.”

    “Hotel is located inside a small forest near to Wernigerode village. So the hotel is in really silent zone. The castle is like 15min by foot and the village some minute more. Breakfast was good and rich of different products. Staff was nice and helping me to have a late check-in”
