We paid extra for Teain Room at the front of the hotel.Good view of yard where trains were getting coal fuel before setting off on their journey.
Model Train around dining room to deliver drinks was cute.

Station is a short walk and tickets to other sites available there.

“Hotel is located inside a small forest near to Wernigerode village. So the hotel is in really silent zone.
The castle is like 15min by foot and the village some minute more.
Breakfast was good and rich of different products.

“Position of hotel close to railway was great, also close to town centre. Lots of free parking around the hotel, also having drinks served by a model railway is great for a steam railway themed hotel.
