“We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed every moment—everything was perfect. The location of the hotel is ideal, right in the heart of Sommerach, with several wine tasting bars nearby.
Our room was comfortable, quiet, and spotlessly clean. The hotel restaurant was superb, and Inge from the restaurant was especially helpful with the menu and wine recommendations—thank you, Inge!
Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of choices. Heidi prepared freshly cooked omelettes to order—thank you, Heidi!

“A beautiful estate in the heart of a charming village. Wonderfully renovated and perfectly maintained, with many original features. The owners are extremely kind and accommodating. A large and comfortable bed, high-quality duvets and linens. Generous breakfast and excellent service in every aspect.
An old building like this also has some downsides – creaky (but beautiful 🙂) wooden floors, and original doors that don’t isolate sounds from the hallway.
However, the atmosphere of the place completely captivated us.”
“Quiet location in one of all Franconia's wine villages, close to restaurants, cafes, vineyards, wine producers and a Vinotek in the middle of the village. No large accommodation, so peaceful. We got a large room with a view of the village and vineyards. The breakfast was excellent with a large selection. The hostess was careful to offer what was requested. We got to borrow bikes for free, an extra plus for that. There was a shared fridge in a hall that you could use.”
