“We stayed at the Gasthaus Krone-Post in Simonswald with our family (two adults and two children) and felt very comfortable throughout our stay. The location is excellent, everything was clean and nicely furnished. Breakfast was very good, and having both a car park and a playground nearby was perfect for families.
The guesthouse, located about 500 metres from the main building, was very peaceful, offered a wonderful view, and was also spotless. We truly enjoyed our time there.”
“Fantastic location, lovely owners who were really friendly. The food was amazing! The room was super, a coffee machine, pods to use and a kettle and an honesty bar. Parking for our motorbikes was a bonus. It was lovely falling asleep listening to the river nearby. Very sad to leave and hope we have a chance to return.”
“I travel a lot but this is the first time that I stayed in a magic place like Steinweiden, where I feel so connected to the forest and the lovely couple of Fausta & Andy. Everything is perfect here, the room is spacious and neat, furnitures & equipments well designed and well taken of. A spacious balcony to feel the warmth of the sunrise, listen to the birds' churping and creeks running happily. Trekking paths are everywhere and a big meadow is 5 minutes from the house, it's view is as magnificent as in the movie Sound of Music.
Fausta is a terrific woman with radiant smiles and a very warm heart. Her breakfast made by organic materials is beautiful and delicious. Her presence and patience made my trip much more memorable than what I've expected.

“We had a great stay, you're being welcomed by the owner with a nice drink of choice, great conversation regarding the place and explanation where you can find all your needs including wifi, park right infront of the door. The rooms are clean and kept clean by staff daily, beds are great and nice seize tv. Great breakfast with bread, fruits, eggs, juice coffe and many other goodies. The view is fantastic and there are many places you can go to in the area for walking, hiking amd even use the free swimmingpool. .i will definately come back!”
