    “We did not have breakfast in the hotel - too expensive. We went for a walk in the town and found a nice patisserie where we ordered coffee and sandwiches. It was great! The hotel has a very nice terrace overlooking the Rhine (and the road along the river). The hotel is situated opposite the old ferry house, which is now a fantastic, typical German, restaurant.”

    “This was our second stay in this hotel. We returned because the location is so ideal for us: very close to the autobahn and within easy reach of family who live in the area. There is also a reasonable amount of free parking. There is a small shopping centre with a supermarket and a pharmacy a couple of hundred metres away, and a McDonald's right next door if you're hungry after a long drive but don't want too venture far. Ibis Budget is usually our hotel chain of choice because it offers predictable, clean, no frills accommodation that's generally reasonable value for money and dog friendly (although we didn't have our dog alone this time). This hotel delivered on all of these except comfort - see my complaint about the awful pillows below. The breakfast was pleasant with reasonable choice - although I'm not a vegetarian, the stand out item was the beetroot and nut spread and the heart shaped brotchen (bread rolls) are a nice touch.”
