“Lavish breakfast. The evening meals were a good selection of traditional German cooking using local, seasonal ingredients where appropriate. The staff were most help and friendly to this English speaker. I would recommend this hotel for a quiet getaway or base to explore the green countryside of northern Germany. I had a friend pick me up and deliver me back by car. When it came time to depart, there is a bus right outside the hotel into the town of Wedel, from where a train runs directly to Hamburg Airport.”
