Very good value, delicious food at the restaurant and good breakfast, bit outside of the city center but really nice and quiet location

Bad smell in room and bathroom

The location is very interesting. It's further away from the city crowd but still easily reachable. With a car- a perfect spot!

The place is an atmospheric one- hippodrome real place, great restaurant - even for vegetarians it offers great menu.

Coffee from a mug was disgusting, we needed to pay for 4 normal coffee approximately 10 euros during breakfast. Breakfast was not good- old croissants, not qualitative scramble and strangely smelling ham.

This place is NOT in Karlsbad - it's a few kilometers away by the hippodrome and polo ground and has the charm of an exclusive, run down historic place of the last century - you can still imagine the VIPs of the past hanging out for a horse race or gambling in the nice wooden building, which is now a hotel and a restaurant. The rooms are good CZ standard, spacious and comfortable and the breakfast is acceptable. The bus into town takes half hour, and car parking is safe and close.

I was unaware that this place is outside of town, but the price is adequate. The hotel room walls are thin, and if you happen to stay during an inhouse wedding or party, there will be no sleep. Same for the restaurant during weekends and festivities.

It's not a first time we are in this hotel. As always, all is good. The big plus is the restaurant - it is nice and tasty. This time we had spacy room (some of the rooms are rather small). Otherwise all is as expected. The staff is nice and kind. Breakfast is decent, not a huge selection, but definitely enough, and all is fresh and tasty.

One of the minor things which would be nice to improve in the hotel in general: the ventilation. There are ventilation holes on the ceiling in the bathroom, but they seem to be not working. The humidity is accumulated through the day, and the towles, entire bathroom start smelling. After opening the windows it is back to normal, but still, it would be nice to get central ventilation in the bathroom working.

The hotel is quite a walk from the glamorous Karlovy Vary center. We liked it mostley because of it - the place is casual, local and very friendly. The hotel is a part of a hippodrome and golf field complex, so it has a pleasant feeling of being in the countryside. The breakfast was good. There is also a typical Czech hospoda serving tasty traditional dishes and attracting many local clients.

We liked everything.

Comfortable bed, large parking, nice restaurant.

Smell in the bathroom, small breakfast, no water in the room, there was a water dispenser in the corridor but empty and without any cups.

The fact that there was an uneasy access out of the hotel at night and one has to walk a long way to an electric gate to go out to the street was awkward. They should install a door code for guests on the hotel itself and not make them use the car gate. Not very safe in case of emergency either.
