The place is great. Cozy room, clean, small, but you have everything what you need, even radio in the bathroom! :) Staff is nice, and the breakfast is delicious.

Not enough places for parking 🅿️

Resort u Forta is a great choice for those who want to explore this area. The surrounding is beautifull, there is a variety of walking traces around the place and many places acessible via public transport (bus). The room in the lodge (Hájenka) was fantastic, well equipped and clean.

The breakfast was rather average, but you can't have everything ;-) There are not many dinig possibilities around, in fact you can only dine in the restourant in the Lodge or in the Hotel oposite to the place. There aren't also any shops in the neighbourhood.

once we'd swapped rooms for one with a terrace we were very happy. Beautiful location, clean, friendly staff. Good breakfast.

The on site restaurant (different to the breakfast salon) was not that good - limited menu - closed early.

The location was Beautiful and a great distance from the National Park.

The cabins had no air conditioning, and the bed felt like a rock. They did provide a floor fan, which was nice, but when it’s 90° outside, that doesn’t help much. The windows could open, but without screens, the number of bugs that came in was crazy. The cabin was clean, but the layout was not great. The shower head was broken and held together with tape. I also want to mention that the national park is beautiful, but it doesn’t compare to an American national park in terms of setup; the signage and maps were very confusing. In 2022, this area experienced a significant wildfire, so it doesn’t look like the pictures we see online. Getting to Edmonds Gorge is nearly impossible due to the fires; they only sell 50 tickets a day, and you have to go to the information center in town by 7:30 am to get them. The number of people was overwhelming; it felt like visiting Yellowstone National Park in the US, with thousands of tourists everywhere. If you’re looking to escape and enjoy nature, this isn’t the place for you. My husband and I could only get away from the crowds on the trail called “Red Trail.

Smoke coming into room when the open bath is heated. Air conditioning would be appreciated very much.

Resort is located in the middle of main Bohemian Switzerland attractions. Its offer comfortable rooms and friendly service. Breakfast was standard but was tasty and suitable also for vegan.

The location in the middle of the national park, at the crossroads of multiple trails is just perfect!

Do not book the double rooms in the Hajenka lodge, it's above the restaurant and is really small and dated. The bathroom was clean, but shower head broken. I found the radio in the bathroom to be quite eccentric. The room had sockets next to bed useful for phone charging, WiFi included, the area is remote but the room was right above the busy road. The receptionists were excellent, helpful and friendly. I found breakfast to be very good, scrambled or fried eggs, bacon, different sausages, beans, good bread, and the regular cereals with milk - I would advise to just eat at the hotel in the morning to save time if you wanted to explore.

The room 12 is small and very dated, if you open the window inwards you will have to keep bumping into it going to and from the bed. The carpet was old and stained, the white sheets were covered in large yellow stains. I could see they were washed but still... The people from the restaurant below were smoking and the smoke was coming into the room all the time. I could see others commenting on the smell of sewage and it was in the room a lot too. The room was also above the busy road so it got quite loud at times. There was no wardrobe or anywhere to put the clothes, literally nothing, not hangers or any other place, we had to keep everything on a chair. I also found it unfortunate that there was no way to securely keep the window ajar. It's either wide open or closed, we had to close it for the night and it got stuffy very quickly. There isn't a great deal of soundproofing, we had children playing in the corridors at 7am presumably going for breakfast and I was woken up.

Compact living room ie only a double bed and no hallway or space for opening a large suitcase. All these spaces was for a huge bathroom so kind of wrong proportion of the facility. No soundproof at all ie kids running in corridor was hearing all very clearly Despite newly built snd many floors, no elevator! Shower drapes were black and no light through them so showering inside was kind of scary

It was a great apartment to be in 😃

Breakfast was average at best for the price.
