How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

I dont find it professional to let a guest Pay for the stay with wellness without letting him know that one of the two saunas doesnt work…
The design was absolutely breathtaking, staff was helpfull and kind, it was overall such a wonderful experience.

The spa/wellness center is a bit confusing. It seems one needs appointments to use the hot tub, even though it is an amenity of the hotel.
The Emblem is very quiet, even though it is just steps from Old Town Square. A lovely place to stay.

Location was perfect!! Close enough from the main attractions, and not loud. The staff was really nice!! Especially the lady who did my check in and the man at the front door. Everybody super polite and always checking if everything was ok. Extra super bonus points for the great steakhouse downstairs!!! Amazing food!! The bar also looked good, but unfortunately I didn't have time to try it. Will return for sure.

The rooms are on a smaller size, but there is a common lounge area in the basement together with the fumoir for smokers. Entrance to the roof veranda with jacuzzi is extra (EUR120 for 30min during our stay).
Everything was perfect. I especially liked sound isolation, bedding as well as quietness of the room. We were on the top floor (5th) and I didn't hear any other guest or cleaner during my stay. The hotel is right next to the libraries, 1 min away from the astronomical clock, 3 min from the Charles' bridge, however, the street next to the hotel is not too loud (not on a tourists path). There is parking right in front, in-house steak house (expensive), all amenities in the room you would need.

The hotel exuded a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, complemented by exceptionally attentive staff. We booked a couple of massages, and the entire spa experience was perfectly relaxing. The online booking process was seamless and efficient, making it incredibly convenient. Very good breakfast. The hotel is just a one-minute stroll from the iconic Astronomical Clock in the main square and a five-minute walk to Charles Bridge. Most of Prague’s Old Town attractions are easily accessible on foot, making it an ideal base for exploring the city. They went above and beyond by arranging a hairstylist at our request, even though the hotel doesn’t have an in-house salon. (the location was just a short two-minute walk from the hotel). I recommend staying here for couples especially. We will come back for sure!

There was no availability for the spa and during the season, more staff and slots should be available The lounge was cosy but the services was not as expected, only coffee machine was provided. No much refreshments, no snacks and the TV channels were not working.
