Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomI had requested a quiet room, on 3 different occasions, as we were celebrating my birthday. The hotel replied, saying that they would do their best. Their best turned out to be a room, directly opposite the lift and overlooking the quite busy and sometimes noisy street. To be fair, though. I was offered an upgrade to a superior room, which overlooked the back and much quieter part of the hotel. It cost me 10 euro, per night , which I didn't mind paying. There is not much nightlife around the hotel. Only 1 tea bag, per night, and no UHT, milk, for tea and coffee.
Our room, after we had paid 30 euro, for an upgrade. Staff were friendly. Beds comfortable. Underfloor heating in bathroom. Size of room . Bathrobes .

Belgium- One downside was the breakfast hours, which were from 7:30 AM to 9:30 AM. This felt a bit too short, especially since many hotels offer breakfast until 10 or 11 AM. It's challenging for guests who prefer to relax and not rush in the morning, particularly when on vacation. - While the breakfast itself was decent, I felt there could be a bit more variety in the options available to cater to different tastes.
- The room was equipped with a TV, which was a nice touch for entertainment during my stay. - The bathroom was well-maintained and clean, providing a comfortable space. - The bed was very comfortable, allowing for a good night's sleep. - The hotel is located in a relatively central area of Prague, making it convenient for exploring the city. - The staff were friendly and accommodating, adding to the welcoming atmosphere of the hotel.

GreeceIt's the first time that I see a hotel charging “towels change €5”! Maybe it's just me, but that doesnt sound nice, especially when the rooms’ prices are normal and not low. It's not the amount, it's the mindset behind it. Also, just a recommendation that the breakfast could start a little bit later than 07:30 or last longer than 09:00, especially during the festive season where most people visit the city for leisure.
Very helpful staff, helped us with every question we had about the city. Excellent breakfast, hot water at all times and room temperature just perfect even when the temperature outside reached -5 degrees.

AustraliaOn the last night, there were very noisy people above us after 11pm. Not the fault of the staff, but I felt more could have been done to get the people to be quiet.
The location, the slanted roof, the window being openable and the comfort of the bed. The receptionists were also lovely and gave us a free shot of Czech liquor on check-in, and also printed a train ticket for us.

United KingdomThe double bed was uncomfortable. 3 nights at the hotel and struggled to sleep on it. The walls are also very thin and can hear noise 2 rooms away. Bathroom was also not the cleanest.
Only 15 minute walk from the centre of Prague. Very reasonably priced compared to the rest in the area. Reception staff also very approachable and friendly, and speak excellent English.

JapanYou need to pay 5 Euros to change towels. I decided to use the same towels for 5 days. It was very disappointed because other things were very good. The TV remote controller did not work well in my room.
Hotel staff were very friendly and kind, especially, Anna. Hotel breakfast was good enough. They serve bread, ham, cheese, fruits, sausage, vegetables, coffee, orange juice, and yogurt. You can eat as much as you can (from 7:30, 18 Euros). If you feel the breakfast is expensive, there was a supermarket called Billa. It took about 5 minutes on foot (but there was a slope), and it was very useful (they sell sandwiches, juice, and some fruits). The room was small, but well renovated and clean. You can go to the Prague Congress Center on foot. Bed was good, and I could sleep very well. There was a small park under the bridge, and you can run (but slopes).

Great forthcoming staff, clean hotel. Good location, too, with public transportation close or walking distance from cafés/restaurants/city center. Didn't have breakfast, so I can't evaluate that.

United KingdomRoom was quite small for a superior twin and didn't really have a sitting area, no additional amenities like a bar or lounge area.
i think this is a 3 star hotel and i would say it is a good 3 star hotel. Room was basic but clean maybe a little small especially as we had a superior room but it suited our needs. hotel only has a breakfast room, no bar or lounge area. Breakfast buffet had a good selection of choices including hot food, cereal, meats, salads, cheeses and yoghurt and fruit. Staff were excellent and all spoke very good English. United KingdomNo iron in the room. The bathroom was very small and when using the toilet you are sat facing a wall right in front of your face. I asked for a double bed but got two single beds pushed together and the air con didn't work for 2 nights so I was too hot and didn't sleep.
Rooms were clean and had a modern design. Plenty of room in the main bedroom area. Good quiet location not too far from the city centre, very walkable.
