How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Clean, comfortable and spacious apartment, in just a few minutes walking distance to the center of town. Billa supermarket is in the same building as well as private parking.

My room has light moving sensor in corridor, and light on every time anybody go to bathroom and wake up me. my bedroom doesn't has door or curtains to block that light.

Unfortunately there is no breakfast available. There is however a good supermarket in the building that is open all day.
The apartment was spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The town center is very nearby.

There were some minor annoyances, it would have been nice if they had provided some washing powder, some more coffee, and a dish drying rack. As we were in a split level room, some sort of nightlight to see the stairs at night would have been helpful.
The room was very nice and spacious. The highlight was the location, an easy walk into the old town made it super convenient. Having the supermarket in the same building was a real bonus too.

I like everything in this hotel, however, the only issue was that I couldn't book the hotel for a week, only 4 days and then 2 days.
This is my favourite hotel, every summer I have visited this hotel.

This is a perfect place for a family holiday. it was easy to check in. The appartment has everything and it is clean, at night it is very quiet and safe .From the BnB u can easily reach all the tourist places. We highly recommend staying here!

It just took us a little to figure out the aircon (there were 3 remotes, but we only found 2 aircons, maybe we were all blind:) and if I built an apartment to sleep four, I'd have made the toilet separate from the shower.
We had a huge apartement and really enjoyed the spacious, newly refurbished place. Gigantic bathtub, nice sitting area, a total of three (!) TVs, nice breakfast area, Kitchen with all amenities, one separate bed-room, another (semi-open) on a loft within the apartment, 3 meters above ground:)

Our appartment was not designed for disabled people so this issue should be emphasized while ordering asI supposethere are other apparments in the building that are.
Very comfortable and spacious appartment, well furnished, well designed, parking available (for extra payment), easy self check in and check out, big supermarket and pizza in the building, great location - at the edge of old town but yet with easy exits to any direction by car.

No coffee machine in the kitchen.
Good location, close to old city center and stores. Super clean, well designed. Our apartment had a washing machine, great for when you travel with children. There is a grocery store on the ground floor of the building. Would come back anytime.

Very nice room and perfect location to visit Budvar. A supermarket is in the same building, we had a modern kitchen and air conditioning. The reservation of the parking place was easy and comfortable.

Just tiny thing... we like more natural light in the appartment, but it is just a minor point (and more a personal preference).
We have decided to go to České Budějovice on very last moment and lots of accommodation, especially in the center, were already taken (there was an event held close to the center) and therefore we decided to accommodate us here and it was a a pleasant surprise. The appartment was much more bigger than exected, very cozy, well equipped. Surprisingly we did not hear any cars despite the busy road under the window (if it was closed, of course). Supermarket in the house, very helpful staff. Basically no complaints.

No light blocking curtains on all windows.
Very spacious for the price with excellent facilities (even a washing machine in the room). Very close to the city centre. Room was clean. Very good value for money.

The apartment is a 5-minute walk from Náměstí Přemysla Otakara II. A grocery store is located in the same building. The apartment is very spacious – it has 3 bedrooms.

Poor water pressure, not a safe place to stay for kids and old people ( it has big beams on the floor and a lot of steps in the room), some appliances were with issues (ex broken kettle) - but this is for the studio under the roof; in rest I don’t know
