Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

PolandThe receptionist, although she tried to be helpful, was not very pleasant or friendly. There were missing basic cleaning supplies in the kitchen – there is a dishwasher, but items like a sponge, a dishcloth, or even a bit of dish soap were lacking. For example, the kitchen has a wooden chopping board, which shouldn’t be washed in the dishwasher… and without the above-mentioned cleaning supplies, it was difficult to keep it clean. The parking is very expensive – 15 euros per day for a single space is definitely overpriced.
Good location – although a bit away from Prague’s historic centre, it is very well connected to the main attractions by metro and trams. Quiet neighbourhood – the nearby railway line was not noticeable at all. Clean, spacious apartment with comfortable beds.

SwedenThe lamp stand didn’t work and we didn’t realise there was a city tax to pay but otherwise it was perfect!
Everything worked out well, we were close to the tram, a supermarket and only a few stops away from the citycentre.

PolandFor us the most uncomfortable were the pillows, they are too big and tough for us and the bed was squeaking a lot. All the rest was fine.

NetherlandsIn summers the apartment gets stuffy as there is no AC, they provided one fan on request but we had 2 bedrooms, they should provide fans during summers. Also there is a construction work going on next to the stay and the train track is very close too so it is a little noisy.
Good location. Close to the metro and tram station, clean and well maintained apartments.

United KingdomLacking some essential supplies such as bin liners, a sponge for dishes.... Very hard mattress for my preference. Worst bit was that they charged my credit card for the stay even though it was paid for through booking.com :/ got it refunded but was a hassle.
Location, space. Really nice bathroom. Murphy bed in the living area (apart from mattress). Kitchen equipment overall. Some members of the staff very helpful.

United StatesThe walk is a bit far from the metro and didn’t feel very safe. People drinking and loitering around the grocery store. I wouldn’t have felt safe without my husband. Basic cleaning supplies and soap would be nice. Construction and train are noisy outside your window which needs to be open for air. The construction is not finishing anytime soon.
Earlier comments are true. Small but clean. If there are 4 of you, the front room is taken up by the bed. The WiFi was good. They changed some light bulbs as we asked.

Germanyeverything is online by checkin and checkout, keys in the box, but you steel need to go to reception to pay city tax. cleanness is questionable: all corners are dusty, bath sink drain is clogged. and there was no room service at all. this apartment had no conditioning, so it was very hot and stuffy inside. Internet was very weak, tv set had only cable channels, nothing modern like Youtube.
apartment is quite big, there is enough place for 4 persons. i did not cook, but it seems that this is possible in there: there are almost everything you might need (i only could not find any knives except one for bread). bed is more or less comfortable. location is okay: metro in 5 minutes, couple of cafes and shops are also close. price was fair.

UkraineThe area is very loud as the railways pass right behind the building. In the description it says the property is noise proof but I doubt it really is. The reception works till 1600 only which does not impact the self ch deck in, but if you need to arrange something through check in, like simply an iron, better keep that in mind.
The property is very clean and there’s basically needed for a good stay.

SloveniaYou have to pack your own cleaning supplies for washing the dishes and laundry machine as well as some spices and cooking oil but that does not affect my grade for the accommodation.
The apartment is located in a peaceful neighborhood, only 20min to city center by public transport. It was clean and very well maintained. We enjoyed our stay a lot and might return in the future.

BrazilThe apartment had a noticeable smell of cigarettes, which was a bit unpleasant. The kitchen was missing some basic essentials like dish detergent, a sponge, and a kitchen towel, which would have made cleaning more convenient. Also, be cautious about leaving the windows open in the evening — insects can quickly find their way in.
Great location with easy access by car or via the Bolt app. Entry to the building and facilities is simple and fully automated with codes, all clearly explained.

CroatiaWe were family of 4 but there was only 3 chairs and even not enough plates or cutlery for 4.
We got detailed instructions how to get into the apartment. The apartment was nice (just like in photos) and clean. We have used the garage. It was booked in advance. This is a great option. We used public transportation to the city centre. The apartment is not far from the metro and tram.

AustraliaTwo things were really annoying. First, the crucial kitchen supplies of detergent, dish cloth and tea towel were not supplied. There is a dishwasher but no tablets/liquid/powder. Ok, we were able to get the supplies from the supermarket but these supplies are usually supplied for short stay accommodation. The second thing is the very unwelcoming and unhelpful communication with the apartment managers. You only get sent the instructions at 3pm on the day of arrival and they are quite unintelligible. You are sent at least three separate codes in two separate emails and working out what to do with these is an ordeal. We had to help three other families to get into their apartments and there is NO help if you are struggling. Very unwelcoming. There is also a construction site next door but surprisingly it was not as noisy as you might think…
The apartment is large and spacious and is in an excellent location for public transport and supermarkets. Getting to the centre of Prague is very easy with a Metro and tram station just 6 minutes walk away. The apartment was spotlessly clean as well.

TurkeyConstruction View and Noise: Our apartment had a direct view of a construction site, causing daily exposure to dust and noise. Poor Ventilation in Kitchen: The kitchen lacked a functional extractor hood, leading to heavy smoke and cooking odors. Overheating: Despite having windows and being located on the east and south sides, the apartment became very hot during the day, especially in summer. Insufficient Kitchen Supplies: Basic cooking utensils were provided, but just enough to get by. Notably, only one dishwasher tablet was left for a week-long stay—either none should be provided, or at least 4–5 tablets should be included. No Coffee Machine: There was no coffee machine, which was not clearly indicated in the listing. We had to make do with instant coffee using the kettle. Limited Living Space: The sofa bed, when extended, took up most of the living room area, making it feel cramped. Overall Condition Reflects the Price: While the price was lower compared to other accommodations, this was clearly due to the limitations in comfort and amenities.
We stayed at Prag City Residence for one week and overall had a mixed experience. Below is a breakdown of the positives and negatives we observed during our stay: Great Location: Close to both metro and tram lines, making it easy to access different parts of the city. Easy Access: Entry to the building and apartment was smooth and hassle-free. Stable, High-Speed Internet: The Wi-Fi was excellent throughout our stay. Modern and Clean Bathroom: The toilet was modern, well-maintained, and fully stocked with hygiene products.Helpful Receptionist: The receptionist was generally helpful and responsive when needed.
