I just love this hotel. Stayed here 10 years ago, so coming to prague again, this was the obvious choice.

The hotel didn’t feel very welcoming - there weee notices in our room telling us what we could and couldn’t do, which felt like we were being told off!

Clean, good-sized room. Usefully set between the train station and the old town.

Having to leave! I really do think this is a very good example of the standard it advertises itself as.

Excellent from start to finish. Absolutely beautiful, very good staff, breakfast to standard, room was very comfortable, clean and well equipped. Very centrally located, staff were very helpful, hotel spotless and stunning throughout. Properly maintained and abides by rating. Experience could be labelled five star.

Be warned about the potential for overcharging. Booking.com quoted a price in EUR and gave a conversion to CZK at the same time. Both the Booking.com price and the final invoice price at the hotel in EUR matched, but there was a sizeable difference in what the hotel actually charged me in CZK compared to what it should have been, even when using currency converter apps on the same day. They overcharged by 210Kc and that was only for one night! It would have been even worse for a multiple night stay. It left a bad taste in my mouth after a pleasant stay. I am not sure why when booking a hotel in the Czech Republic, there is any mention of Euros. You are charged and pay in CZK, so if EUR need to be mentioned at all, it should only be as a guide. Czech hotels should not be pricing in Euros!

Air conditioning could not cool our room to an acceptable level. They sent engineers twice, but never quite solved it. We could feel some vibration for the trams going by, but that wasn’t a huge problem.

Character hotel with art deco decor and excellent old world service.walking distance to everything.

The hotel is very unique. While the outside is comparably neutral, is interieur is a dream in Art Deco. Especially the Cafe Imperial, where breakfast is also served, is a master piece. Besides this Charme and atmosphere, the room was very good and the staff was friendly and extremely helpful. The hotel is even challenging 5-star standards from Asian hotels. In all, a very lovely and pleasant stay with potential for repetition – definitely on our hotel short list.

The corridors of the hotel had a dusty smell

The rooms were a little small but I guess that is expected from a hotel of that era.

A very beautiful hotel. Full of that old world charm one would expect of Prague. The location was fantastic, walking distance to the old town and very accessible. We felt very safe walking early in the morning and late into the night.

Location was great, valet parking was really superb! Just drive to hotel and staff parked the car and brought it back on check-out. Room was spacious and loved the Rituals products. Bed was really big and comfortable, big pillows and separate blankets in double bed. Good sound proof. Really pleasant surprise!
