Perfect localisation for our needs; away from town, very quiet place surrounded by fields and nature. Breakfast with plenty to choose from, room was a good size even for 4 of us, nice modern bathroom and huge outside wooden deck. Very nice stay at Penzion Stara Celnice.

Although my stay was too short to provide a fully fair assessment, I did notice a few drawbacks. The bathroom layout was impractical, with a very high faucet placement, and the shower lacked a screen, causing water to spread everywhere. While these details prevent me from giving a perfect score, the overall quality of the accommodation was still very high.

I had a wonderful stay in a stunning natural environment with absolute peace and quiet. Although my business trip didn't allow me much time to fully enjoy the experience, I truly appreciated the serene atmosphere and excellent accommodation. I hope to return someday for a longer, more relaxing stay. Additionally, the organization of the stay was flawless. I received thorough information before arrival, my room was spotless and beautifully maintained, and the breakfast was excellent.

None everything is perfect

Location is amazing and full of beautiful landscapes around the property. I’d love to visit once again for longer period of time. Definitely will recommend to take a break from the city.

Overly strong plug-in fragrances being used in the room and hallways - we unplugged the device on Day 1 and could still smell the fragrance on Day 4 when we were leaving, despite having left thd window open for 3 days to get rid of the fragrance. The property walls are very thin, but the owners share this in the welcome package, and everyone was considerate during quiet hours, so it luckily didn't stop us from sleeping. I also didn't enjoy being insulted by the staff member at breakfast, who was extremely rude to me for my attempts to refill the water compartment of the coffee machine in a way that she didn't like, despite there being no instructions for what to do in that situation. This same staff member also went outside to smoke during breakfast service and left the door open, making the entire room smell like cigarettes.

The unlimited sauna, the peace and quiet from such a great location in the countryside, the pillows and duvet were super comfortable, the value for money of having half-board included with enormous portions of very tasty foods, the stylish design of the room, the courtyard being so private, plenty of parking right next to the property.

Although we stayed in the Penzion Stara Celnice between the winter and the spring seasons, the service was on the best level. The place in a historical building of the old Toll House is arranged with taste, and features sauna, hot tub and large terrace with the views on the mountain valley. Food was good, with complementary coffee and snacks. There was a fridge full of great Czech beers on a very reasonable price.

Unfortunately, we got a room without a TV, even though it was in the room description. But the employees apologized and offered compensation. Dinners were a little worse, they resembled a school canteen. That's why I lower the rating a bit.

Very nice surroundings suitable for trips and the pension is nicely renovated. Great little wellness included in the price. Tasty breakfest and coffee for free all day.

It was already mentioned in other reviews that walls are a bit think, it was not a problem to us as our neighbors where nice and respected the property rules not to make too much noise. Other thing I could suggest is maybe make reservations in the sauna for guests - it’s a common practice in other places I’ve been to. When we were there sauna was occupied the whole evening by 2 people, which to some people is not a problem but it’s not as big to use it by 4 or more people at the same time in a comfortable way.

We loved our stay, everything was perfect. Let me start with easy check-in. The room was super clean, spacious with huge bed. We had a small fridge in the room which was nice. Bathroom was fully equipped with towels, washing products. Breakfast was very nice with many options to choose from. We booked half-board and the dinner was delicious, home made food. There is no grocery store near by but there is a self service fridge in the hotel where you can buy any drinks at reasonable price and pay at the check out. We could make coffee or tea at any time of the day. We really felt like home, and staff working there was also very nice and welcomed us like a family.

The room was kind of claustrophobic and overall very confined with no room to spare, however, for the price, something like this is to be expected. Also, we didn't receive a dinner we ordered due to some kind of a communication error, so be ware that this might happen and better check twice with the staff that your requests go through.

The calm and secluded location was lovely. The staff was nice, the room was cozy and the breakfasts were great with a plenty of choice. The sauna and whirlpool were both freely accessible and empty at the time of our visit.

The Jacuzzi wasn't 100% clean.

Not all the staff speak English, but they were all extremely nice. As a guest you have a lot of freedom there and the peave and quietness is amazing. The rooms also smelled really nice. They also gave us nice vegetarian options for the dinner. Breakfast buffet was also great!

Thin doors that allowed all the sound go through. The dinners from the external vendor were not good. I would gladly pay a little extra for a nice dinner. These were unfortunately inedible.

Good location, nice and helpful staff (Ms. Tereza was fantastic), nice and plentiful breakfast, good quality toiletries, modern features in the rooms.

Can't really think of a negative. Perhaps the location, might be a bit hard to access during winter time, but it's still an asphalt road and literally ten minutes off the main street.

Seems to be recently renovated. Beautiful quiet pension in the mountains. with plenty of outside space. Room was beautifully decorated, squeaky clean, and gave off a very cozy feeling. Provided for free were even stuff like cotton buds, make-up removal cottons, hair sprays, feminine products, a big variety of tea, a mini bar. Staff was friendly, there was free coffee all day. Breakfast although nothing too fancy was perfectly satisfactory and tasty. There was also a small sauna and a outside whirlpool included. The dining/breakfast area was also beautiful. Overall one gets the feeling that the people running the pension care about what they are doing and want their customers to have as good an experience as possible, and that for me is a great feeling when staying somewhere, if not the most important. Thank you very much, would very gladly stay again, among the nicest stays I have had in a long time, especially for the price.

There was a small problem with comunicating with the staff in english as no one from our group speaks polish or czech. And received only one message with codes for room, but did book two rooms. In this situation it was very easy to contact a person through telephone, who helped us very quickly.

Very beautiful rooms, comfy beds, there was everything you could need for your stay. Very quiet, didn't hear other guests in their rooms. Delicious breakfast. Perfect for families with kids. Happy I made this choice.

There could be better coffee in the machine.

Attention to details and high quality of facilities. Namely: The best bed mattress I have ever experienced in a hotel room, had a great sleep on it. Free Finnish sauna was a perfect finish for the day in the mountains. Spotless glass in the shower. Netflix. Interior has a great style. Very friendly and willing staff and facilitator.
