The location is great, close to both the bus terminal and the town itself. The host was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant she recommended was fabulous. The room is clean and spacious for four people. The decor of the room is charming. Breakfast was great. The garden outside offers guests an additional resting place.

Nothing, it was all lovely.

We found Penzion Gardena to be charming and comfortable accommodation for a few days in Český Krumlov, perfectly located close to the old town. Everything was great; we received a friendly and informative welcome, a large room with fantastic views of the Tower, ample secure off-road parking, well-stocked communal bar fridge with honesty payment, and a very nice breakfast.

Penzion Gardena is located just across the main road from the old city. This makes it easy to reach all the attractions in Cesky Krumlov. Plenty of parking space in the garden. Quiet surroundings. The breakfast buffet offered something for every taste.

Not much, if I must say, the stairs for elderly proven a bit challenging, especially the first step when coming downstairs is a bit dangerous, must take extreme caution not to step wrong.

Location is excellent for driving or taking shuttle bus or bus, as it’s just outside old town without pebble walkways but close enough. Also close to the highest point for taking photos of the town. Nice little garden to relax. The room with terrace is beautiful with stunning sunset view

Great location! Felt historic but clean and tidy. The woman at the reception was very nice! She let me check in early and have a late checkout since my bus didn’t leave until later. I would recommend for a more affordable option.

We liked everything.

The room was exactly as described. The furnishing is oldfashioned (as one can see in the pictures) but this adds to the overall experience in this lovely little town in my opinion. Room nice and spacious. Big garden for us to take our dog out and can imagine nice to sit there in spring/summer. We loved that it was close to the main town. Literally on minute down the road there was the bridge into the main old part of town. Perfect location. The lady there was also very friendly and helpful.

The apartment is large, clean and it has the feel of an antique home. There was a nice view of the Castle Tower from the window. The breakfast was very good, tasty and diverse. The old town is a short walk away. You can park the car in the pension's carpark.

Amazing place with lovely people. Pension is surrounded by nice garden available for guests. Free parking, special garage for bike with possibility of charging ebikes! Nice breakfast. Pension is situated on the entrance to the Old City, less than 10 minutes walking to the main square. We will back definitely!

It's best to book a lower floor room. Some people might not be able to climb to the top rooms.

Penzion Gardena is in a great location. It's only steps away from the old town and two minutes walk from one of the best views. As this spot was on our way to the centre of the village and the castle we stopped multiple times to enjoy it. The market in the square is about five minutes walk. The welcome was very nice and the host very accommodating.
