We loved staying at Penzion Dvorek. The patio is outstanding, the staff extremely nice and Tomas’ wines are delicious. We will definitely visit again.

The capacity of the property is large relative to its size so you frequently see the same guests around. This could be good or bad, depending on you and the guests.

Well-developed property with simple but tastefully decorated rooms, very friendly and communicative owner, drinks and evening events for those who want them, breakfast was excellent for this type of accommodation.

The shower was spacious, but the problem was that the water didn't drain properly. After one shower, there were 2-3 cm of water everywhere, and it started to overflow into the entire bathroom. The second issue was cleanliness. At first glance, it looked fine, but there were dried spiders and cobwebs on the walls in the corners around the curtains. The third problem was that the toilet seat was covered with pieces of excrement underneath and was yellowed from urine. It was quite disgusting. The accommodation really needs to work on cleanliness. We were only there for one night, otherwise, I would have addressed it, but there wasn't time for that.

The accommodation was in a good location, a pleasant Moravian area.

1.the room for 2 people can not be modified for 4 people room,even in USSR the norm was established for a person ,you can’t put 4 beds in a 2 people room and to sell it 2x times more expensive

Place is under construction. We were aware of this when we booked, but the rooms are not yet fully finished (heating is not yet installed; wires hang off the walls in the room). Rooms are not sound proofed. This is an issue as all the life in the property happens on the patio which is directly below the windows and you cannot close them as no Aircon or ventilation in the rooms is installed. Breakfast service needs to improve. Things were missing on the 3rd day of our stay e.g.Black tea, cups, milk and replenishment was too slow. On another day eggs ran out and guests who arrived later were not able to have any. Products served are from Lidl. There is nothing wrong, just a statement of fact. Palava is an agricultural area, so it would be great to actually eat local produce. There is a wasp nest in the patio area directly over the entrance to the stairway to rooms. Wasps fly around like crazy during breakfast as it is served outside. I feared to take cold cuts and not get bitten. Staff is nice and helpful, but sometimes dominate the area. As someone who worked in the hospitality business, I understand staff is ok to use facilities, but once guests show up, they should make sure their kids are not occupying the pool, or running around the patio when guests try to read a book. The property has great potential, but there are things that need to be improved already now.

This is a passion project for the owners. You can see they have a long term vision for the place and when the place is finished, I am sure it could be amazing. Greek style colors and nice patio. Bathroom nicely furnished. Towels and linen of good quality. The owner took the time to talk to us everyday and guide us to the best things in the area.
