Most everything was perfect BUT this is why I travel with my own pillow. i just love a soft, low, down pillow.

I was recording a little video to show the place off, and owner Pavel hands me a free welcome ice cream cone! Lady owner was helpful, calling me a cab. Breakfast was a feast. You can hear the river from your window.

We loved the location! What a beautiful town and our room had a view of the river looking towards it. The room was very comfortable and clean and had everything we needed. Our host was very accommodating and lovely to chat with.

Everything about Pension Wok was perfect. We had a balcony and enjoyed the sight and sound of the river so close plus the beautiful views of the town. Highly recommend this property, the host was lovely.

From the warm and informative welcome from lovely Irene who is such a gorgeous friendly lady , we had 2 wonderful days at Pension Wok - felt we were staying in a family home. Room excellent , location brilliant. Irene though was the ‘star’ of why we loved staying there.

The room had a great view of the town and the river. The parking was super convenient and it was easy to reach the Pension with our car. All the sites were an easy walk and the caretaker had very helpful recommendations for dinner. We had breakfast there one day which was very nice and worth the added cost. The room was very clean and the bathroom was functional with enough light and room to move. The bed and linens were very comfortable.

We really liked the location of the pension, it is right next to the river with a nice view of the city and church tower. The room was clean, the interior is really cosy and nice. The best part was the host, which was super friendly and nice, for a small additional payment we got a really great breakfast and coffee 😊 We would definitely recommend this pension to everyone! It feels like home

Our host was extremely friendly, giving us priceless recommendations for restaurants and local attractions and cooking us a delicious breakfast each morning. The room was spotless, light filled with a beautiful view and the bed was very comfortable. We loved having a drink on the little balcony overlooking the river.

We really enjoyed staying here while visiting Cesky Krumlov. We were in the attic room and it worked great for us for 2 nights. The bed was comfortable and the shower was hot! The location was great, walking distance to everything, and it was in a quieter area than being in the center. The host, Irena, was super nice and welcomed us like family. We would definitely stay here again!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay. The views of the river, the church and the surrounding areas were amazing. Our breakfast prepared by our hostess were wonderful. Our hostess even shared her vast acknowledgment of the town with us. Highly recommended this amazing pension.

If you asked me to name the highlight of our trip to Český Krumlov, it would be Irene and her incredible Pension Wok. Irene was not just warm and supportive—she made us feel like family from the moment we arrived. Our balcony room was beautifully furnished, and the river view was beyond anything we had imagined. The breakfast was unforgettable, especially the freshly baked croissants, which were simply divine.

If you are sensitive to noise, this might not be the spot for you. There is a restaurant/ bar with a deck under the river side room that was open quite late. Other than that we have no complaints!

The location was fabulous! Right on the river! Gorgeous views, easy to get to the castle and all of the shops and restaurants. The hosts are so sweet and really made us feel welcome. Irena had wonderful suggestions for restaurants. Our rooms were very clean and comfortable.

I honestly can’t think of anything I didn’t like.

I had booked this pension some time ago based on reviews and it met all of our expectations. Irene, our host, was sensational. She met us at the property when we came from the bus station. She welcomed us and gave us all kinds of information about Cesky Krumlov. The property was located right next to the river but away from the main areas where most of the crowds were. The room was very comfortable with a nice little balcony overlooking the water. Irene was a gem. If I come back for another visit, I would stay at Pension Wok.

One small thing: we pay a high price for that place, so taking a fee for coffee capsules (3 capsules located near a coffee machine) doesn’t look good.
