Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomOn the advert it says private parking. However, you have to pay to use it, and the cost for three nights is 600 CKZ. That is £20.00+ This was a totally unexpected charge, and we booked this accommodation on the basis of the charge on your site. Ref. 5052669590. Accommodation payment is cash only on arrival. There is no cash point anywhere near the accommodation. So, this needs to be made very clear on the advert quickly. Fortunately, we came by car and had enough cash. But the accommodation plus car park was 5,000 CKZ (almost £200!). Imagine if someone came by public transport and did not have that amount of cash. They would have to walk all the way back to the nearest place with a cash point at least 20 minutes. At a 30 degrees centigrade heatwave, to travel all the way to the accommodation and then have to go out again to a cash point then return back again to the accommodation to pay and after then travel out for the evening. Quite exhausting and time wasting! It was surprising that only soap was provided, no shower gel or shampoo is provided. There are no glasses, kettle, or coffee/tea in the room either, so if you are thirsty bring a bottle. When you brush your teeth, you will need to put water in your hand to do so (!). It is hard to fathom why no plastic cups can be provided. The towels in the room were dry but had the awful smell of damp i.e. not dried quickly enough, so when you use them, it is like putting a small on your body. Fortunately, we had our own. For this price you would expect these as standard No directions are given to the nearest bar or restaurant . Similarly, no directions to the nearest bus stop or tram. Or even church. It is very simple to document this and would be very useful.
It is in a decent very quiet, residential location with a bus stop just 5 minutes walk away and runs every 10 minutes to the metro. There is also a pub and a (very good) restaurant within 5 minutes (opposite the bus stop). A woman (maybe is the owner) lives in the property and is friendly, but it is best is to communicate with her son if you need any assistance with booking queries. Although he does not live in the property, in fact lives on the other side of Czech, he is helpful. TIP Make sure you get a metro ticket when you arrive at the airport or if by car find somewhere on the way to the property. . There is nowhere local to do this. TIP Take the metro to Malostranske. Then get a metro (one stop) to Maleostanske namesta. Namesti is square. There you will find is a lovely area with restaurants, nice church Svatek Tomas (we were married there), Hotel U Schnellu does great Czech cuisine (we had our reception there in 2009 and the food is still great). You can also walk from the square to Charles Bridge (only 500 meteres away), St Vitis cathedral, Prague Castle

CanadaThe room was pretty small, but fine for 1 person. The bathroom was separate (would probably be shared if the pension was busy). There's not much to do around, but I was just there for the night so it didn't matter. Overall pretty good, would stay there again.
The location is great for when you have a super early flight and need to get on a night bus to the airport (5min walk, then a 25min bus ride). The hosts are super friendly and helpful. The house is cozy with heaps of character.
