Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Czech RepublicFriendly Mrs. Alexandra willingly helped with questions and was helpful even with late check-in. The house is small but cozy, and despite its location practically in the center, it is surrounded by a small garden and few trees, and at night it was practically completely quiet for a metropolis. Perfect for an overnight stay, we will certainly use it again on our visits to Prague.

SwedenThere are rules for using the place, the first of which is time, as it is not desirable to use the kitchen, for example, after ten in the evening, such as cooking or making noise, and I understand this. But it was more like an obstacle for us if we wanted to stay in the city until twelve at night or more and return home at two in the morning. I do not think that this would be welcomed by the owner, especially since upon returning we must take a shower from the summer heat or use the kitchen to make a cup of coffee. Coffee or something. 1 - The toilet is a little small but it does the trick. 2 - There is a shared fridge as the owner provided one shelf for us with a little space in the fridge. I wish there was our own mini fridge in the room. 3 - In the bathroom, there is no place to hang or place a treadle water hose, so we had to stand in the bathtub, holding water with one hand, and showering with the other. It was a little uncomfortable but it did the trick. 4 - There was no fan, wardrobe, or mirror in the room, which could be excellent additions in the future for the owner if she wanted to develop the place.
First, you must know that this place of residence is shared with the landlady, who lives in the same house with two young men who are her children. When I booked, I did not read anything indicating that the house was shared with anyone. Perhaps it was my mistake, and for us as a Muslim couple, we cannot stay in someone’s house due to the privacy of the hijab and Islamic dress. It was a shock when we arrived at ten in the evening and discovered that we had a room with a private toilet, a shared kitchen, and a shared bathroom. In fact, it was our first experience, but Alexandra, the owner, probably understood the situation and provided us with a calm and nice atmosphere. 1 - The woman who owns the house is very nice. She talked with us many times and gave us some advice about the city. She was respectful and had high morals, and the two young men, the owner’s children, were also nice. 2 - Parking was free next to the house, and the owner provided information on the table about the Wi-Fi password and an important map to know the tourist attractions in the city. 3 - The family is very quiet and respectful, and we never felt their presence in the house, as they rarely go out to the common section, as the house has another section for them, and also most of our time in the house was only evening when sleeping, morning when waking up, and most of the day in the city.

NetherlandsWe would have appreciated to be informed in advance that we would share the space with the owner and her cat. We didn't mind, but there was no information about this in the description of the room offer, so we we're quite surprised.
The host was very nice and hospitable. She loved to help out and was very flexible. The location was very close to the tram station and had well connections to the centre. The room was very cosy. The free parking spot next to the home was great.
