Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Very hard to find, even with Google Maps. This hotel is at the end of a residential street. You expect to see more city. The breakfast starts at 07:30 and not before, which is "no way" when you travel for business.

Czech RepublicLack of information from staff. 6 hours electricity switch off wasn’t communicated in advance. One complaining due to work issues, staff was unprofessional commenting that ‘people don’t come here to work’. No apologies or small compensation offered. We had one day a very nice dinner, but the second day it was quite bad. When asked by the waitress how was it (returning half uneaten dish) and expressing that it wasn’t that good, her reaction was ‘OK, I will not ask next time’.
Location is quiet, good position for visiting nature and towns nearby.

EgyptI had the unfortunate event of my card key not opening my room. It was 10.15pm & reception was closed and they have a written sign to call an internal number after 10.00pm. How can I call that number if I am locked outside the room?! There is no available phone except inside the room. I tried everything, knocking on reception door, calling the general hotel number, knocking on the door to the indoors pool, checking all service rooms, but without any luck! I stayed locked out of my room for almost 2 hours. I even rang the emergency elevator button several times again it was useless. At the end I found a couple at the parking lot and apparently one of them was a hotel worker but outside her shift. She kept trying to call the same numbers but without any use & long time afterwards, the receptionist came out of the indoor pool and they explained to her what happened and she said it wasn't her fault because it wasn't her shift also! Not even an apology! She gave me a hard key to my room (not a card key this time). A very unfortunate event with 2 hours I am stuck at night in the hotel hallways helpless, tried, frustrated and extremely annoyed. That's besides the fact that nobody speaks English at the hotel whatsoever which is a major drawback. Never again will I stay there. Imagine if there was an emergency; medical or otherwise and there is absolutely no one to help you out...
Nothing except for the indoor pool.
