The shower was timed with a token, but water took its time to heat up, which meant very short time available for hot water shower.

It was easy to move my reservation to another date. The place was close both to the railway station and the centre of the city, which made easy exploration not only of Karlovy Vary but its surroundings, for example Loket. The house is located on the bank of river, which provides for an excellent view from the window. All in all, pretty unique place.

Very good for its price. The room and the bathroom were clean, a little common kitchen available if you want to cook something or make some tea. Reminded me of the grandma's house in the countryside.

We had to pay 30kr for a shower token. This should've been specified before check in, since it's an extra cost.

Everything was very straightforward and almost funny. It's a punk house. Everyone was stoned all the time.

No curtains at the windows. Quite hot and stuffy. We had to wait an hour to check in as the owner/ reception staff was out. Walls are thin so you can hear others and doors closing at night. Fine as a budget option though.

This is very good value for money if you're looking for basic, no frills accommodation in KV. The beds were clean and comfortable and the bathrooms are kept clean and tidy. There is a bar/ food van which serves snacks.

Friendly atmosphere...cannot get a better deal for the price in Karlovy. Yes, simple it is, but one can get a good night's rest!

It is again not amazing comfortable. There were no curtains in my room. But again for that price, 12 Euro, one can not complain. I forgot to ask about wifi, maybe there was none. I do not know. If you want luxurious life, 5 stars, this might not be the place. If you want a touch of real Czech life if you like adventure and swimming, try this camp (and with your own tent it is even more cheap)

If you want that real '90's feeling, retro, this might be the place. It is a 'autokemp' (camping) mix with the classic Czech 'ubytovna' a cheap place to stay. It is very basic, but everythings works fine. You can also pitch your own tent as the place is also a campsite. Shower is free. Owner does not speak a lot of English, but who does in Czech Republic? Room was amazing big. It is right at a river (Ohre) and a lot of swimming and other wateractivities are possible. The camping has a little restaurant or bar where you can buy drinks and food for small prices. It has a relax atmosphere. It is at walking distance from both Karlovo Vary main station (hlavni nadrazi) and even closer, just across the bridge (you actually see the campsite from the station) the Karlovo Vary dolni nadrazi station and also the busstation for the Studentagency bus to Praha Florenc (and many other city, regional and intercity buses). Not amazing comfort, not 5 stars, but then again amazing cheap and real Czech! In winter when there is snow try the little railwayline to Johanngeorgstadt in Germany, but get out at the last Czech station Potucky to save a lot of money (as Germany is amazing expensive) and walk in the snow the final 2 kilometers! Amazing beautifull railline going up in mountains to the former DDR.

We were aware about not expecting a great placa for this price, but not about a place so dirty, so out of order, people smoking marijuana, there was no manager, although we sent an email, that wasn't answered, announcing our arrival. We decided to get away from that place. Booking shouldn't expose it's reputation offering this kind of places.

Not a complaint/didn't like..... The Satnav/GPS couldn't locate this place and will send you around in circles........ The Klub is off the main road via a small opening opposite the Baumax sign :-)

I couldn't believe when i found this place on Booking.com, my requirements were 1, location 2, parking place 3, close to nature/walking etc 4, all at a reasonable price! This Klub house ticked all the boxes and more. There is a very friendly family atmosphere here, food and drinks and a small campsite, everything infact. My room, though small and the furniture a bit dated was spotlessly clean and the bed extremely comfortable, the shared bathroom also clean and well kept. I was more than happy with my stay here. 10 minutes walk from the historic UNESCO Spa Town, Bus, Train station and Supermarkets again very conveniently close. A wonderful and unique position.
