A bit remote location

The staff at the restaurant was not on the top of the situation. They mixed the orders, forgot to prepare a meal for one of us, at the check-out there was food written to our room which we haven’t ordered. It was really disappointing.

It’s in a nice, quiet place with a good view.

The breakfast buffet could have been a bit better.

This was an interesting hotel that is in a rural area. My GPS didn't have the address but Google maps did. Driving up, we surprised a few deer on the road. The room was pretty clean and the staff were very helpful. We were looking to relax and spend some time outdoors, and the location was great for this. My kids loved bowling in the basement.

Nice room in quiet environment. Very cheap by our standards. Restaurant meals good and cheap as well drinks. Wellness area small, but enough good as the was only few other guests on same time.

The hotel was very comfortable, the room spacious with a balcony, however old-fashioned and needed little refurbishment. Nevertheless it was very clean, the spa very nice. Breakfast was very rich and offered huge selection. Everything was delicious.

The building has poor noise insulation and hence is very noisy in the evenings. Many of the staff seems to be challenged by basics such as cleaning and switching on the coffee maker BEFORE the breakfast buffet is opened, however, even that does not reliably happen at the published time. “cleaning the room” - which happens every 3rd day - does not include hovering the floor; in my case dried mud from hiking stayed there for the duration. Breakfast is good but why you get presented with a dinner menu that includes the half board, which upon ordering you get told that you would have had to purchase prior to arrival almost makes for stand-up comedy. Some of the restaurant staff is friendly and capable, others seem to be programmed to move in slow motion and avoid mental involvement at all times.

To say good bye and hit the road

After a long day of driving, I arrived at the hotel exhausted. At the reception, Daniella greeted me in the friendliest way possible. She kindly answered all my questions and handed me the key to my room. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped, with a balcony. If you love yourself, ask for room 420! I went down for dinner—no regrets. Great food, superb beer. Afterward, I still had time to visit the spa, which has a jacuzzi, a pool, and saunas. I was lucky enough to have the place to myself, probably because it was a random Monday before the season. The next morning, I tried the breakfast—wide selection, good coffee. As a bonus, just a two-minute walk from the hotel, there’s a ruin castle with a spectacular view. Shout-out to Daniella and the whole crew for their exceptional service. I truly had a pleasant time!

Front desk in the restaurant. Staff not really good with languages other than Czech. Out of our 5 nights stay, cleaning our room was forgotten three times!! Not acceptable at all in my opinion. There was also some cake on the floor under one of the tables where breakfast was served upon our first day which still remained there unattended the day we left. I was thinking about pointing out, but since there were other corners I did point to, I was curious how long it would take until they notice. Swimming pool and wellness area was really fallen out of time and need an upgrade beyond some “cosmetics”. Massages were given in a small room where everyone needed to walk by when taking the direct way to parking space. I imagine you also hear people playing table tennis or bowling there and it happened at least twice that when I walked by the door was not properly closed while giving a massage.

Super quiet, close to forest and ruins and the end of a small road. For kids the small kicker and the table tennis was great for indoor entertainment. The variety of food for breakfast was extremely good, though refurnishing very dependent on the team on duty.

We booked a double bed and got a room with two separate beds because the rest wasn’t cleaned for guests. Next to this we had to pay 6 euros for taxes and parking eventhough it said free on booking.com

Comfortable nice Hotel in a quiet nature surroundings. We went for Christmas holidays with the family. Facilities and staff are great. We had a perfect time with sauna, pool, hot tub and game room. Unfortunately the bowling was under maintenance during our stay. I guess we’ll have to go back again to enjoy it.

- the room had a few mouldy spots in the bathroom and at the wall in a corner but that wasn’t bothering at all, everything was spotless clean, warm and it smelled clean

It’s not just the hotel itself that is great but also the location! Super friendly personnel, the guy, Nikolas, was very relaxed and explained all necessary things and even called us to make sure to get a proper arrival. He even stayed awake to arrange our arrival at 23:00 in the night. Big plus: + fantastic nature scenery at the doorstep, on 100m distance there’s a lovely castle + spacious rooms with all basic needs from shampoo, sewing kit and candy and great view from the balcony + comfortable bed and various cushions + dogs welcome + fantastic relax swimming facilities + incredible breakfast with many options from fruit to fried eggs and fresh croissants, fresh juice and good coffee and various tea options + helpful friendly staff

I think the prices for meals are extremely high. We didn't eat there cause of that. But that's just one reproach.

Lovely place in beautiful nature, a lots relax corners there and there... free books for reading, but i mean only in Czech language? Hasištejn ruins nearby, a few steps from hotel. The staff were likeable, men and women no exceptions. But especially receptionists like a Klara and her friends. I'm recommending this hotel.
