The sauna and steam bath are only available from 16.00 to 20.00.

The location is perfect between the two centers of Karlovy Vary. In the sauna you get a towel and sheet. Also in the room there is a bathrobe. Breakfast is good.

Jets in warm pool didn’t work & hot tub could have been hotter.

Great location with a balcony looking onto the canal. Buffet breakfast & dinners were all good. We enjoyed our spa treatments. Access to the Wellness facility was nice although the hot tub could have been hotter.

Private parking exists, but has a limited space and one has to pay extra (15-20 Eur) per night. No Smart TV.

A very good hotel; great location, comfortable large and clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff. Spa facilities and services are very good. The spa space is rather small, but if there are not many visitors, it is great ( in our case we were mostly alone in the pool area).

Very Cold pool, not pleasant at all, cannot be used in cold winter time ! Spa is too small, Not comfortable for more than 3-4 people. Property is old, carpets in the rooms are to be changed, smell of old drenage in the toilet.

The spa facilities were disappointing. The whirlpool wasn’t working by the end of my stay and the water in the pool was too cool to be in. The lounge area by the spa was cold too. The treatment area was a bit chaotic and the one person I was directed to to book additional treatment was very blunt.

The hotel itself was well located and a beautiful building. Quiet and too had all the facilities. Staff was friendly and helpful.

It has a great location in the town centre. The sauna, steam room, and hot tub were excellent, and breakfast and dinner had good food choices. I followed a specific diet and could choose food according to my requirements. All the staff are nice and supportive and professional.

Old rooms, feeling that you in area from 90th. Curtains are dirty and with cigarets marks.

Good location, very close to hotel Thermal and 15 min walk from main bus & railway station. Billa supermarket at 5 min walk from hotel. Recommend to take room with balcony. At the top floor sauna, small swimming pool and jacuzzi are available from 9:00 till 20:00. Sauna is open from 16:00. Breakfast & dinner are quite good. Majority of people were speaking Russian, Ukrainian and English.

We liked food served and staff at the restaurant was very nice. We are also grateful to the hotel manager who was very effective in problem solving. Treatments' facilities are in good shape and the doctor is very attentive to clients. Overly, a positive impression!

Well renovated very traditional Karlovy Vary building. The location is just best - great views over the river and Saunia spa complex with outdoor bath filled with 100% thermal water. For 699 CZK you can use all the facilities for 3 hours. Relaxing in hot spring pool is also included. We layed there for almost an hour while ouside temperature was 7 degrees. Beer price is 55-65 CZK. Do not miss the walk to all springs and colonnades up to Hot Spring Colonnade.

I booked a massage and I gave specific wishes: neck and shoulders, but the masseur didn't listen, he kind of did his standard treatment (full back & legs) despite me protesting four times, pointing at where I wanted him to massage me. Besides that I have serious doubts about his schooling. He only used two techniques: effleurage (sliding over the skin) and some tapotements (tapping), but the most effectve technique, the petrissage (kneading), he didn't use. Too bad, that makes a massage as good as worthless.

Nice and spacious room with a balcony overlooking the street. The chair on the balcony was a low folding chair sometimes difficult to get up from. Good breakfast with plenty of choice and friendly, helpful staff. I knew it beforehand so it's not a complaint, but for guests coming by public transport it's good to know that it's either a taxi or lugging (heavy) luggage with you, as there isn't any bus from the train station going to a point near the hotel.

Breakfast could run a little later for those of us who were out late the night before.

The location is perfect, right in the heart of KV. Breakfast was generous and good. Rooms are well appointed and bed was super comfortable.

The spa was very small, with one jacuzzi and a small swimming pool. The water in the jacuzzi wasn't hot enough. The sauna was nice, but it works only after 4pm. It was a bit hard to mkeaa reservation for a massage. We needed to wait for more than 15 minutes on a queue to talk with the main nurse just for scheduling the procedure. In my opinion,it would be easier to make reservations at the balneo reception.

The hotel was very cosy. Our room was spacious and well-equiped with everyting needed for the stay. The hotel staff was very polite and welcoming. The sellection of food was small, but it was very well prepared and tasty. The room and the hotel in general were spotless clean.

Well, where to begin? - The beds/mattresses were beyond awful. No matter if you like soft/hard or is young/old. Horrible and worn out, gave both me and my partner backpain. - Room was old and worn out. Sink cracked and just a bad room in general. - The receptionists aswell as the majority of the staff were not nice and especially not very helpful. It was quite chocking at times. Asked for extra pillows, it was a "bad time" to ask because receptionist was about to eat.... Had to wait over 1 hour to get the pillows, which arrived without the pillow case on... Our car that we had parked in there area was blocked. We needed to go to a different location, made a last minute reservation. Staff in the reception told us we should have said something earlier and made it a problem. Had to wait 10 min for it to get sorted. There is more but just to sum it up, not a pleasant experience with the staff. - The "Spa" is a joke. Pool is minimal, the whirlpool broken and small. Do not book this place if you think there is a spa. Or rather go to the actual spa down the road, 5 min walking. - 4 stars? Maybe if you look to the sky in the evening. Place is MAXIMUM 3 stars. - Overall not happy with the stay.

The reception staff (except Irina) are very rude, never smile, never make you feel welcome. Many of the hotel staff don’t have basic English. I was at Hotel Humboldt Park in July 2024 and enjoyed it very much. Mid November I spent 3 days and had a very unpleasant experience. This is why I can not recommend this hotel. Before booking, I called the hotel two times to check if the spa and the swimming pool were open and working, and I was assured they were. When I arrived the next day, I was told that the spa and the swimming pool were going to be closed for 1,5 days because of the ‘Sanitary day’, so instead of 3 days of using them, I had 1,5. I complained and wanted to talk to the manager. The manager didn’t come to the hotel during my stay, but the polite receptionist Irina offered me a therapy from their Balneo Therapy Centre as a compensation. I booked a 45 min reflexology foot massage. After 30 min the massagist finished it. I asked why. The massagist, who didn’t speak any foreign language, called the Balneo Centre nurse with a basic English, who rudely said: ‘For you it is 30 min!! We have other customers to attend!’ (by the way, I doubt the qualifications of this nurse as she insisted several times that gout, my health problem, is an ‘ingrowth of toe‘s nail’ . I was shocked by her lack of knowledge and her aggressive rudeness. Nobody apologized for me for what has happened, instead I was treated as a trouble maker. Needless to say, I will not return to this hotel. I believe you should stay away from the Hotel Humboldt Park because of the rude staff, although their spa and pool are beautiful. If you have no problem and don’t talk to anybody in the hotel, your stay may be pleasant. Their staff’s lack of customer skills, their rudeness and carelessness and lack of foreign languages, make this place, in my opinion, totally unacceptable.

Stylish and beautiful clean rooms. Excellent swimming pool with thermal water and a great spa. Quiet area and quiet hotel. Very good breakfast. Good buffet lunch and dinner.
