Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

South AfricaWe made the booking as the room rate was better than similar hotels nearby (who included parking), not realizing parking was an extra Euro35 per day! Parking is really TIGHT. Bays are allocated based on car size, so make sure you give the correct size or you may lose out.
Room was fabulous. Size, furnishings, comfort and facilities exceeded our expectations. Location was not too bad, 10 minute walk to the main bridge to the Old Town, and 15 up to the Palace. A very good breakfast.

South KoreaAbsolutely nothing! One of my favorite hotels ever. We want to come back and stay again.
The room was so spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The room and bathroom had everything you could possible need - from toiletries to tea and coffee, to an air conditioner and fan, etc. The neighborhood is so quiet at night which meant we slept so well. The curtains are nice and dark but when they are open the room gets a lot of light. The staff are exceptionally nice and helpful. The breakfast was so good, an highlight of our day every day for the week we stayed there. Access is controlled and we felt very safe. The location is excellent with many transport options and excellent restaurants nearby.

Location+10, area near the historical center, in a quiet, clean area where many embassies are located. The hotel is amazing, the rooms are large 40m2, the beds are comfortable, every day high-quality cleaning. Breakfasts are a real feast with a buffet, hot, sweet and salty dishes for every taste and in unlimited quantities!

United KingdomBeautifully furnished spacious room, clean, with a lovely big bed. Really good breakfast with plenty of choice from the buffet and you could also order freshly prepared food from the menu. The staff were very friendly. It was in the more quiet side of the city close to the Castle which suited us, but still within easy walking distance from all the other major attractions.

It was an amazing stay at Boutique Hotel Constans. Especially thanks for the great services they provided. (Receptionist Viktorija, and the lady who works in the kitchen, Yolanda. I hope I spell names correctly. ) Location- super! 5 mins walk to Castle and Charles Bridge. Cleaness- super! The staff cleaned our room daily during 6 nights' stay. Safety- Super! Right next to the US embassy. Police control the entrance of this area. Breakfast - super! Various options, including buffet and ordering from menu. Sound isolation - super, no noise can be heard from either the street or neighbor rooms. I definitely will come back here!

United KingdomNothing!
Fabulous hotel in great location on the quieter side of the bridge. Hotel staff were all so friendly and helpful. Rooms are huge, No 12 had entrance area, bathroom off this, main bedroom with sofa and a study room off this with kettle, coffee, desk and chair. Breakfast was very good and had lots of continental choices, yogurts, cereals, bread, rolls, fruit and you could also order anything you wanted from the menu, eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, waffles. Located on very quiet street. Easy 10/15 min walk down to Charles Bridge. All the restaurants/bars on this side are much cheaper than the Old Town. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

New ZealandRight from the friendly & helpful greeting at reception upon arrival, the size & facilities of our room with access to an outdoor seating area, the beautiful breakfast each morning including the charming & pleasant waiting staff, the patient & friendly ckeaning staff, we found nothing to fault. We have a lot to compare, as we have been travelling for 3 months. The proximity to public transport, the Charles Bridge, Prague Castle & all the sights is excellent. We liked the fact the hotel was just back enough from the busyness of the tourist throngs to be peaceful. Lovely local less touristy cafes around.
